Is it good? Because it sounds interesting.

...

It is. A little bit cheesy, but its sci-fi fantasy Star Wars original trilogy cheesy.

Thank you noble user.
Than I must check it.

...

Do it, the creature and designis very art deco star wars style.
If they would make a toon, the waifu of the month would increase than normal

They even had a nice encyclopedia of their monsters. I think it was one of the first for a comic universe.

What went wrong?

great visuals but lazy as fuck writing

Objectively? Nothing there are roumurs of a second movie. Butoveral, its very design and color bombastic. The story and characters are sometimes too thin.
A little bit too much niche with a little bit too much jamming several book plots into ine film.

I didnt know if that counts as or not. So i censored it.

Now I really must check it.
Finding things like that makes Sup Forums one of my favorite boards.

It has faults and I think the biggest was taking itself too seriously.

>middle ages
>french
I'd prefer one from the age of shaved underarms.

>there's no porn of this beautiful goddess

>Cast a blonde to avoid accusations of just re-hashing Leeloo from Fifth Element

Is the movie worth checking out besides?

It was a disapointment in term of profit. Rumours of a second movie are probably exagerated.

The first hour so. The rest kind of just limps to the closing credits

The same thing that went right: Luc Besson made it. He can't into humans anymore.

I have to say that the French really strike a good balance in character design. Their designs are neither the "everybody is slender and androgynous" of your generic animu nor the "everybody is super tall and muscular" of your generic capeshit.

>everyone is slender and androgynous in anime
Are shoujo and josei anime and manga all you consume? Are you a girl?

>If they would make a toon, the waifu of the month would increase than normal

Not for lack of trying. There's that anime studio thing where the art style is unrecognizable (Laureline's still qt but in a different way) and like two or three earlier aborted projects with the regular style.

Then their big movie break is a galactic flop and she's not even a redhead. Like, merde.

I dont think that is a reason.
Fith element was inspired by Valerian. Besson was always open about that.
He considered it to be his hommage at Valerian.

Was it? Im kinda sad, but reliefed at the same time. The movie is good but its not good enough for the source material. Im torn between "yeah" and "thats bad translated".

Fucking casting!

Hot damn she's cute; I wanna start reading it just for her.
