I wanna watch it, are there any episodes online? I can't find any digital versions, there's only the DVD.

Would like to see a reboot, but kids these days would think it's an Adventure Time rip off.

try this

It's great

thanks fren

better than heman

i always thoguth it was kind of stupid show back when i was a id,now i still thing is stupid but i dont really care anymore,i like stupid things

Demon dogs.

Frankly I don't remember anything about it and I did watch several episodes back in the day.

>cool setting
>badasses everywhere
>Conan with lightsaber
>Brown waifu sorceress
>Chewbacca clone
The intro itself is more hardcore than 99% of the shit on TV. I loved how they mixed magic and "old world" tech. Plus whoever does the voice for Thundarr is iconic as fuck.
"DEMON DOGS!!"

Now for the million dollar question: This or Herculoids?

i'd take thundarr b/c gloop and gleep annoy the shit out of me

I loved it. The intro is tits.
It was a huge influence on Scioli.

So good.

Robert Ridgely, who was also Tarzan, Lord Of The Jungle, and Flash motherfucking Gordon.

Oh, and Rex Charger (Centurions).

There is no "or"; these would make an awesome double-bill.

Yeah, that blew my mind.

Shit's so good it deserves a reboot. Then again most reboots nowadays suck ass, so nevermind.

Don't forget the Colonel in "Boogie Nights."

He had such an awesome voice.

cant find the clip with DEMON DOGS, which episode is it?

Oh yes.

Alex Toth was the Bruce Timm of the 60's / 70s.

awesome style.

Fun, but far too short a run. Wish there had been more than 21 episodes.

Damn this cartoon is old. Has a '60s pulp-fiction fantasy feel to it. Maybe a setting for the Numenara RPG ?

Nice.

IN THE YEAR 1994

Herculoids= Cosmic Thundarr, bring em in for a cosmic event arc

I think it was in a Thundarr episode, they had some women mind controlled to do the bidding of some jabba-like monster. Or just have her submerge in some pink bubbly liquid, I don't remember.

All I remember is that this episode freaked me out as much as it aroused me.

I need to re-watch Thundarr to find this one scene... Were there any other Hanna-Barbera fantasy/monster shows like that, with equally creepy themes, that aired in Cartoon Network between 91-94? I think there was another show that wasn't Thundarr but had a similar setting (maybe He-man, but I don't remember that ever airing on CN).

this is neat -

Didn't Jack the GOAT Kirby do all the character designs for this show?

No, he did the Wizards, though; Alex Toth did main designs, IIRC.

Thoughts on Gundarr?

I want some sort of revival, but... not in this day and age. Maybe some other appropriate time where it won't be under the scrutiny of soyboys.

korgoth is superior

Yes, but it will never have another.

this comic is one huge fursecution, stop the hate ;_;

Don't remember anything about it, confused it with Galtar and the Golden Lance for a while a decade after they both aired.

>The inital designs for the three main characters were done by master illustrator Alex Toth. And when he moved on to other projects, legendary comic book artist Jack Kirby was brought in to do the remaining designs.

Damn there's a cartoon version of readcomiconline.to? Is there one for books, too?

look into dark horse's adam.3 it's geared more towards the old school jungle comics.
