They both have family, but her connection is much more deeper than his because she's not drowning in cynicism and alcohol. At the same time, because she doesn't exactly have her dream job and has lived a while, she can relate to him on some level. But she does not understand why he doesn't value family more.

During that time, she became pregnant and gave birth to a few kids. When Rick destroyed a lot of the universe's economy though, she took advantage of having invested in an obscure currency. Through a combination of merit and money, she bought the strip club she worked at and became its owner. Eventually, she founded a chain of adult entertainment enterprises but retired from active stripping.
