The first election up is Austria. The right-wing candidate Hofer is up consistently in the polls, but by narrow margins. If he gets in, we Make Austria Great Again and the EU potentially loses another country. The election is Dec. 4 so we need to generate meme magic quick.

Maria Theresa was the iron fist. A bit bitchy, but she got shit done. She was (and probably still is) considered one of the best leaders Austria has had for social, economic, and military reform. She, along with her counsel, saved that country. Comparing any female candidate to her (properly) will win the election.

She pushed for college education towards law instead of theology, which is something Austria had never seen.

If you push your agenda towards the Germans and Austrians, this is not a bad way to go. Especially towards women. Maria Theresa was strong, and making women think they are similar or that there is a candidate that would evoke those same feelings may not be a bad way to go. Austria/Germany gets hit with the 'muslims are bad for kids' train every day. They know. This is a new approach if nothing else works.
IMPORTANT: Be respectful of her image if you want to accomplish anything. This woman is a political idol, and anything that disrespects/belittles her will fail. All the animu shit we had of girls with guns and MAGA hats will absolutely not fly if you use Maria Theresa's image.

If my memory recalls the Austrian President has virtually no power with the exception of appointing the Chancellor, like in Germany. The President is the Head of State while the Chancellor is the Head of Government. I don't think that Hofer has a chance. The US presidential election results shocked and surprised a lot of people here. This will probably mobilize more people from the left and increase the turnout from them significantly.
