>pregnant robot

well yeah, the people who make cartoons now never met their dad

...

>humans successfully breeding with robots

I see no reason to miss it.

>gags

>pregnant robot

I mean That was the plot of the new Blade Runner.

...

...

I WANT MORE KIDS

There is no way this would be banned in cartoons, even now. Stop freaking out OP

Most things with a housewife character that are meant to stereotype the trope honestly.
The spongebob episode with the clam I think brought that gag to its logical end, though.

also I swear DJ's with vinyl records seem to pop up less and less.

>TFW never seen OG blade runner because i related with the MC and his attachment to an AI, and cried when she died

Im totally requesting porn of this in the /aco/ drawthread

Armitage III did it first

>The children are all deformed from being inbred
Perfect

>the one that looks half-Darwin

Why else do you think he's so grumpy?

My favorite part of that movie was realizing the AI is A big part of why everything bad happened to K. He had three real life girls who were into him that he didn't give a chance because of his attraction to the AI. Not even entertaining interest in Love ended up being fatal, or at least would have made her more conflicted. Had he gotten it on with the commissioner or the prostitute, time would have been wasted in the investigation meaning they never would have found Deckard.

It's kind of a condemnation of waifu culture and along with Doki Doki i'm liking this growing sentiment.

>Doki Doki
DDLC only makes my dick harder. A new strain of waifu, a better breed.

Joi only pushed K's own drive along, she was in every way just a projection of himself and was never really "real", that's what the giant Joi revealed in the end, she was nothing but an answering machine reproducing the input he gave her.

that's what made the movie the most tragic too, K really was alone and unremarkable in the end.

I dont think it was trying to shit talk it. If anything his love for her was shown in a good life
>liking doki doki, a dating sim made by a man buttmad over sexualizing 2D women
Opinion discarded

the people watching cartoons no longer have children

...

gumball did it

His love for her was shown in a good light because it was his perspective. The film wanted to make you feel what K feels. Her death is in the greater scheme of things, the least important yet in the movie it is treated as the most important because of K's emotional attachment to her.
gets it.

>>liking doki doki, a dating sim made by a man buttmad over sexualizing 2D women
>Opinion discarded
Buddy, I should but I won't discard yours.
From what I got out of it, Doki Doki is more about the cerebral aspect of dating sims than the sexualization. You're dumbing shit down if you take the "liberals don't like muh anime because feminism" trope, which is how you are coming off.

Dating sims are and have always been creepy. Doki Doki just highlights that and exactly why. It targets gameplay (think all of the horror moments where you cannot go forward or evade the scary shit, only go forward. You have no control) and the cerebral (Why would you want a girl who's only purpose is to fall in love with you for no reason except that you play the game? There's no connection. There's nothing in common except the game expects you are an introverted nerd who likes anime and video games) .

It never targets sexualization or even puts a feminist slant on any of it. There's even opportunities for that with Yuri's boobs, Monika's kneesocks, but no, it never touches upon any of that as the reason for its targeting of dating sims. It targets dating sims because well.. they are kind of fucked up.

Where did minus8 reference this from?

My guess is Silence of the Lambs or Xfiles.

>You're dumbing shit down if you take the "liberals don't like muh anime because feminism" trope, which is how you are coming off.
Isnt that why he made it? Not memeing thats literally why i thought it was made

>Silence of the Lambs
That makes perfect sense, thank you.

It's a shame that minus8 is a depressive basket case, when he does make something it rarely dissapoints.

But what if he wasn't, and he only made something good as often as he does now? He'd be better off, but we probably wouldn't. So in a way it's a good thing that he's a depressive basket case.

>not having a gif of her getting semen thrown at her face
One job

Well he probably wouldn't nuke his online presence so often for a start.

I haven't read any interviews, but I have played the game multiple times in order to review for the college paper.
As I said in the last post, I can't think of anything in the game off the top of my head that talks about sexualization or anything in the context of "they are girls", and you would be right in thinking anything like that would be pretty obvious.

It's not about the sexualization or anything feminist. The only lines that I can think of being related to sex that aren't related to the horror aspect is maybe "I'm not the one who's boobs have grown since [Player] Joined the club" which... pull something about sexism out of that. I can't. It's just standard Visual novel writing.
There's really no "you're a creepy dude for playing this". I don't even think the big bad Monika says anything feminist or to that extent. It's more about the lack of connection and the false idea of companionship with a virtual character who is designed to love you. The most she can guess about you is your name from the name of your PC. and that's about it.

There was some game made in Twine which was more about stuff like fetishes and fucked up sexuality and people feeling like they were disgusting creeps. DDLC I think anything about sexualization or feminism is projection.

There's one article I can find that talks about DDLC in a feminist context and a LOT of that seems like projection.
"DDLC’s primary issue is that it wants to convey how awful it is to treat its characters like exploitable objects, with Monika’s final monologue calling both herself and the player awful for “using” these girls…while exploiting them and their individual struggles with mental illness relentlessly in the second playthrough."
uhhhh no? No.
Fuck no.

i've beaten this game three times. These characters are dehumanized into being code bytes like some shit out of Tron. it's implied pretty heavily that outside of Monika they are basically just programming and wires, tricks. Monika feels bad about using them seeing them as in some context, their friends. They are not girls anymore than Internet Explorer is a transgender boy. Like, they have backstory, but that backstory does not equal a conscience. They are cardboard cutouts and one of them learned to walk and think. It doesn't make sense for them to be fully fledged "girls" with their own lives in the context of the narrative.

tl;dr any feminsim thrown onto DDLC misses the point.

She mentions how the characters besides her are all unrealistic and people like them simply couldn't exist. Namely how someone with Natsuki's personality wouldn't get cute and poutty when she doesn't get her way and Yuri wouldn't be able to hold a conversation if she was real. She also makes a passing comment when she's talking about her fantasies of becoming a house wife probably aren't very progressive.

I don't remember this, and if it really was the point why was it shoved into 2-3 lines of dialog at the end which can easily be interpreted as "they're just robots". How the hell would she even have context to judge what a woman is and their role in society?

This really makes no sense in the context of the story.

Replicants are pretty much humans though
Just with a lot of genetic code edited

It's in Act 3. If you leave the game running after she deletes everyone after a while she'll start trying to hold conversations with you. I was just bringing up the two times she brings it up. Regardless, she does seem to have some sort of understanding of what the world is like and how it operates. Like, there's another line where she talks about how the setting of the game is all over the place due to the fact that all the posters are in Japanese, but everyone speaks English and makes a comment about how the story doesn't make sense if it was at a Japanese school (have no idea why not though). There's also some lines of dialogue where she brings up memories of stuff that didn't happen in the game like Yuri sneaking wine into class and trying to get her drunk. She also brings up stuff about her family and how she would have loved to meet new people at the festival. So she clearly has some sort of memories that go beyond the programming. Maybe the theory about Monika showing up again in Team Salvato's next game is true and we'll learn more about why that is.

The same trope appeared in the show twice, the other time was with Jenny and YK9.

Who is this semen demon?

Naomi Armitage, the first anime waifudroid
Or at least the first waifudroid that can give you babies. Whoops, I just spoiled the plot

does no one read filenames anymore?

sounds like its your job now, nigga

Sheldon a cute.

...

that kni-droid, did he stop drawing or put everything behind paywall?

took me a second
zone you magnificent bastard

Well the ending is still relatively happy for him because even though he wasn't destined for any great fate, he still found meaning in life.

He reunited an old man with his daughter he had never gotten to know. And that was all K's decision, he could have tried to join the replicant uprising and killed Deckard like he was told, but he made his own decision to help Deckard. Thus he became his own man for the first time in his existence.

Heteronormativity is a crime, shitlord.

I mean OPs pic is more like toxic heteronormativity

the plot was lame anyway. its not that gripping or emotionally compelling as a story but the scenery and art is nice

>pregnant space rock

NOT A JOKE ANYMORE !!!

Gumball did this with two brothers, afaik.

Gumball was the last cartoon that comes to mind that did this gag for me.

Here I thought it was just making fun on certain female characters in VNs not getting their own route.

It took me years to rent that from the video store because I thought it had to be the third part of a series.

I like those.
Also, I know the thread derailed a bit, but another gag that disappeared is this:
m.youtube.com/watch?v=1nQSaCXIvRM

I can top that.

If we taught gun safety in our schools this would actually be more acceptable, but most of the time this is as much exposure to guns as kids got.
