YOUR DAD'S FAVORITE SHOW

Why hasn't Static gotten a blue ray release?

>Why hasn't Static gotten a blue ray release?
Unfortunately it never gained the popularity levels that TT did.

This show was trash.
Why would you spend money on it?

Where'd you find the details? It's not on that page, all I get is this:
>Running Time: 282 minutes
>Aspect Ratio: 16 X 9 LETTERBOX|ORIGINAL ASPECT RATIO - 1.37:1
>Format: Blu-ray
>Box Type: Amaray Case

>Where'd you find the details?
Warner Archive Collection FB page... which of course I can't link to because of the spam filter.

but just go add this on to fb.com /warnerarchive/photos/a.275238161562.177744.205910361562/10155993418931563/?type=3

...

You could fit the entire show on a bluray
Why did they spilt it in seasons instead of a complete collection

This is gonna look like shit on blu ray

5 times the profit?

>implying i didnt have all the dvds

Perhaps they don't want to do it unless they see people will buy it. Then they can charge you for each individual season. Then finally later on they will put out the complete series set.

>You could fit the entire show on a bluray
Why would you want them to compress the video to fit 65 episodes on 1 blu-ray disc?

>This is gonna look like shit on blu ray
....um...no it won't? Why do you think that? Just look at this web-rip screenshot.

>480p
>cropped to 4:3

I will buy it for gray thighs

now show a pic with one of the characters

>implying 480p determines whether something is 16:9 or not

>implying 480p determines whether something is 16:9 or not
Those were additive, not consequent

>now show a pic with one of the characters

Done. Looks pretty good to me.

surprisingly does. figured it would like shit like most animation in the early 2000s that was transferred to hd.

I think it's native HD. Was downscaled for TV and DVD.

weird. flash and simple animation usually does look good filtered and upscaled though.

>ORIGINAL ASPECT RATIO - 1.78:1 -16x9 WIDESCREEN
Nice. Glad they're releasing this version.

Next up hopefully The Batman and LOSH.

why are only Bart and Lisa off-model?

>bought the entire series on DVD during an amazon sale

>figured it would like shit
No, but the DVDs do in comparison.

This was originally animated in HD, but broadcast in 4:3. Here's the same frame but from the DVDs. Details and colors are lacking and it's been cropped to fit the within aspect ratio.

ask chris

Got any more screens?

>Next up hopefully The Batman and LOSH.
I think you mean the Duck Dodgers series, 1/3rd of which you still cannot buy in any form...

>Got any more screens?

Yeah I have the DVDs and HD web-rips for all 5 seasons. Is there something inparticular that you want a screencap of?
