Previous thread It's that time of year again. Time to share holiday comics, cartoons, comradery, traditions, and spread some cheer to your fellow anons.
As previous years share your Amazon wishlist and some random user may purchase a holiday gift for you. I'll have two of these pastebins going, one filled with the ungifted wishlist codes and another with all wishlists that have been posted this year.
To get your wishlist code open you wishlists on Amazon, then click on the name on the left side of the page it will update the URL at the top after /wishlist/. If you are using one of the international versions of Amazon please let us know when you post your list.
Amazon will automatically donate a small portion of your purchase amount to the charity of your choice if you simply type "smile.amazon.com" (or smile.amazon.co.uk) rather than using the usual "www". Doing this is just one more way to spread the love this holiday season (and the rest of the year too, if you so choose).
If you frequent the threads please don't spam your list number, if you want to keep sharing it please only post it once per thread. Just because you've posted your list doesn't mean someone will purchase you a gift. It's random how user's will choose who to buy for. But please take a look through some of the lists and see if there's anyone/thing you want to gift.
The pastebins will be updated at least once a day, if you have any questions or concerns you can email Elusive at [email protected]

I refused to go to the dentist for a decade due to bad experience but when I started having caries on the left side, I just had to. turns out I apparently never got proper anaesthesia in the past. ask for that shit and you will have no pain whatsoever

Would post the whole thing but I think the thread would be full too quickly due to the "massive" page number. I think something along the lines of 50-80/90 page range would be easier on the thread will take a look regarding Secret Identity tho

Yeah it would, it follows one of the greater themes of the book, be yourself. I recomend it greatly, its my favorite Superman elseworlds.

I wonder if the other folks I gifted have received their stuff yet? I know Santaseid got Gon v1, POFG got his copy of Kong: Skull Island, and an user got her copy of Lilo & Stitch, but I don't think anyone else has posted about receiving theirs. Here's hoping they all arrive before the new year.

I would put it up there with Red Son and Kingdom Come, but would hesitate to say better. It's just... different. I really liked it, I will admit, but somehow the entire thing felt rushed. Like they tried to fit too much into the overall page count, when they could have just done a second or third book. It deserved more detail and time spent on the concept.
Just my thoughts though. I'm as much a quantity as much as quality kind of guy, wheras others might feel it was just the right length.

I actually thought the same thing about Red Son when I read it for the first time. Wish they had shown more comfy Russia related stuff because I really liked the atmosphere of the first chapter

Yay I finally get to do laundry. One roommate had the washer/dryer taken up yesterday, and the other two had them filled for the 4 days prior.
It will be nice not to have to go commando.
Right now looks like I'll be driving 2 hours to my mother's, exchanging a few gifts (except for my middle and eldest sibling who have been more then naughty) and then driving back home 2 hours to a Christmas party already in progress.

Well, it looks like I'm going to end up corralled into ol' Momma Minifig's annual Christmas busywork, so I won't be around as much over the next few days, and then I'll be up at my brother's house from the 23rd-27th, which has one of those net nanny things where you can't access adult sites until 9pm, so I guess I'll be with you guys in spirit. General etiquette has us stop on New Year's Day... but as you can imagine, things tend to get a little more sedate than our current level

Could you give me some advice fellow Sup Forumsmrades? My brother likes boardgames but just kinda casually and I'm thinking about getting him Ticket to Ride ($27) or a game called "with other words" where you explain words to a teammate and they have to guess them ($21), which one do you think is better? Or should I get him something else in that price range?

Ticket to ride is fun, so is exploding kittens, we haven't playtested this, and all munchkin games.
I'd recommend Cargo Noir, but it looks like it's price has jumped since it's last printing.

Ticket to ride, if you can Europe its the best base game in my opinion.
I dont know about "with other words", sounds fun and may be great. I guess it all depends on how much setup you want for a party game, ticket to ride is not heavy on that but the second one sounds like it needs none. I can say that none of those choses are bad.

It's sounds pretty similar, yeah. Decently basic premiss but it works well as a board game.
I love Munchkin, but my own group tried exploding kittens a while ago and we were less than impressed. Cargo Noir sounds pretty fun too but it sadly looks like it's something like $60 atm.
I was actually looking at the European version since that's the only one my local store has in stock. Might actually have to go down there and take a look at both of them tomorrow to see if I can make a decision. And to check if they're actually still in stock.
