You think Obamacare is going away? HAHAHAHA

You think Obamacare is going away? HAHAHAHA

Over 20 million people have Obamacare. Millions more are affected by aspects of the legislation even on plans outside the marketplace. All Trump's presidency can do is set into motion legislation that would phase it out over the next few years.

That's right, the next few YEARS. Which means when the Democrat wins in 2020, it comes back in full force.

Whats Obamacare?

>All Trump's presidency can do is set into motion legislation that would phase it out over the next few years.
Trump has stood for every single element there is which makes Obamacare so bad, from the individual mandate to the core philosophy, except to say there should be competition across state lines.

Repeal and replace is a sham.

>Over 20 million people were forced to have Obamacare or face a financial penalty

They weren't forced to have Obamacare, they were just "forced" to have insurance.

You realize that most people just lied on their tax return and said they had insurance, right? There was nothing the IRS could do. The legislation had no teeth.

leave shill

It took, what, five or six years of Obama's presidency to get Obamacare passed and functioning. I'm not surprised that it'll take years.

I dont understand whats the difference from ACA and no ACA? one forces you to have healthcare the other doesn't.. they still cost the same amount.

tfw u are a cis straight white male conservative living in NYC and have obamacare

i want to move out of the city and to a red state so bad but there are no jobs outside of NYC

Lol ikr

If they repeal it they fuck up big league, drumpf's presidency wont be off to such a good start

No, ACA does a ton of things to affect healthcare in America. People can be in their parents' insurance until 26. Pre-existing conditions can't stop you from getting insurance. Health screenings for preventative care.

If you dump the ACA overnight you hurt people even with regular insurance outside of the marketplace.

Call me stupid or whatever, but I've never actually understood what Obamacare is supposed to do. Mostly cause I never bothered looking into it.

The most I've gleaned is that you need to have insurance or you'll get a tax penalty (but you can lie with little consequence). I also think it lets poorfags and niggers get shitty insurance for free.

it taxes small and medium businesses and they use that money to help out all the bottom of the barrel people. dindu's, white trash, people without jobs, etc. Doesn't stimulate the economy at all. It's going to get replaced 100%

Tell me where I'm wrong using facts and I'll think about it.

Figured as much.

You realize that it doesn't actually work as planned because Republicans forced Obama to gut it? And rather than walk away, they passed the remnants with the idea that they could fix it later. Except Republicans took over congress and they put the country in gridlock for 6 years.

Obama was naive to think Republicans would work with him. He gave them an inch and they took a mile.

>poorfags and niggers get shitty insurance for free.
they already had medicaid before ACA
and Trump said he would keep Pre-existing condition shit.
still dont see much of a difference since healthcare thought ACA is still so much.
I think Trump just wants to wipe out Obama legacy and make his own. Trump Care.

Poor people already had free healthcare. Medicare. Obamacare is just a law in place to make the healthy and young pay for others healthcare.

They were kicked off their existing plans but still wanted insurance. While they certainly had the option of no insurance, the only other option was Obamacare.

It's supposed to acclimate the public to a new entitlement, which is a requirement to purchase a product offered by private companies, until the economic model of insurance agencies completely collapses and we can transition to shitty single payer socialist healthcare, ending the environment in which America is the leader in developing advances in medicine.

>Democrats

Who?

I don't think you understand what Medicare is.

A normal person could not just have free healthcare. Not then, not now.

This is pretty much it. people make a big deal about ACA but it is not much different then what it was. other then the Pre-existing condition stuff.
the whole thing is a joke.

>Republicans forced Obama to gut it
Republicans couldn't force Obama to do anything when he had a filibuster proof majority in the Senate and majority in the House. He could pass literally anything he wanted if only he could get Democrats to agree, not a single Republican required.

>tfw 25 and still on parents policy

Repeal this shit before next summer, I don't want no god damned fine

It'll dissolve and go away.

>A normal person could not just have free healthcare.
if you have a kid the parents can go onto medicaid, what poor fag doesn't have at least 1 kid?

Not all Democrats were on board because they were bought by the healthcare industry. He needed some of the non-corrupt Republicans. But when he met with them, multiple times, they would ask him to remove this and that and then they would pass it. He did, he'd go back, they'd be surprised he did it, then they'd hem and haw and say that they needed more removed.

This happened until it was a skeleton.

No, the kid can have insurance, and only if you fit into a certain income bracket.

perhaps but he can end the penalty with an executive action.

>it is not much different then what it was
Tell that to the people whose premiums have doubled and deductibles have gone up 400%+ because they're now forced to subsidize people with pre-existing conditions if they want health insurance.

It makes it so employers are punished for hiring people over 40 or more hours per week or (full time) , that's why there are so many part time jobs

I'm okay with that.

... because anyone working 40 or more needs to have health insurance through their employer or some similar stupid thing

Obama care will only be optimized and then rebranded and that's okay with me.

Not as long as my nigga Carson is in the house

>No, the kid can have insurance, and only if you fit into a certain income bracket
wrong.. parents or guardian of kids can go on medicaid
and the income limit is around 27,000 a year.

gb2bed obama

That's some amazing historical revisionism. Obama met with Republicans to put on a show for the American public and didn't listen to a single request. All of the legislative effort was getting all Democrats to go along. The final version which passed was the version Democrats agreed to. There was never any intention of giving Republicans anything, only the hope that one or two moderate Republicans like McCain would agree to it for the sake of appearances.

Great opinion fucktard but how about you list some facts instead.

That's interesting. If called into question, if I say I'm insured by myself, do I avoid the penalties?

>republicans were good boys they din do nuffin

Okay kid.
