>After the success of Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders, animated film based on the Batman TV series of the 1960s, Warner Bros. had stated that their executives are considering to make an animated film based on the classic Wonder Woman TV series, with Lynda Carter reprising her role by voicing the character;[19] along with an animated adaptation of the comic series Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
>Next up is the logical followup to Batman ’66 in Wonder Woman ’77. If West and Ward were willing to reprise their fifty year old roles, why not try to get Lynda Carter to once again play Diana Prince even if only a voice over? Much like Batman ’66, DC revived Wonder Woman ’77 in recent years in the comic book medium. Plus, a Batman ’66/Wonder Woman ’77 crossover comic is in the works, so we can only hope that baby steps are being taken toward an animated adaptation.
She does voice work for Bethesda games pretty frequently so I don't see why she wouldn't or couldn't do this.

>it's a 'maybe' >not actually confirmed I'll be legitimately surprised if this actually manifests. DC is straight up allergic to any non-Batman project, and especially so to anything Wonder Woman. The only reason the live action film happened at all is because the desire to do a shared movie universe left them with no choice. Carter would absolutely do an animated flick, but it's naive to assume one will be made in the first place.
Aaron Cook
They absolutely would have done a Batman '66/Wonder Woman '77 animated crossover if West hadn't died. With him recently passed though, I guess it depends on how DC/WB feel about trying to replace him with a sound-alike or if they've decided not to do anymore with him gone.
Jeremiah Wright
>They absolutely would have done a Batman '66/Wonder Woman '77 animated crossover if West hadn't died. No they wouldn't. They'd certainly have done a third Bat film, but a WW 77 crossover? Nah mate.
Dylan Edwards
yeah sure why not?
shame that George Reeve and anyone who worked on the 50's Superman is dead. I'd love to see an animated crossover with Adam West Batman.
If only Adam West Batman movies started a few years earlier.
Mason Myers
After Wonder Woman making a huge profit to WB with her movie and superhero girls she is officially their second safest investiment by now.
Joseph Fisher
But she's not Batman, and Batman is the ONLY DC property that sells. The company is quite literally dependent on endlessly shoveling out as much Bat-related content as possible. Focusing on any other property of theirs will swiftly result in bankruptcy. So no, Wondy is not by any stretch of the imagination a safe investment.
Michael Morales
>Focusing on any other property of theirs will swiftly result in bankruptcy
is it DC's fault for not trying to push those characters or are they just outdated?
Gavin Taylor
The Batman '66 producers said they wanted to do it But now it will obviously not happen
Nolan Cooper
What’s the highest grossing flick in the DCEU Again?
Daniel Evans
I liked Linda’s paired talents.
Liam Reyes
>is it DC's fault for not trying to push those characters That, and consumers only ever being interested in Batman. Popular opinion basically has it that he's the only good superhero, thus there's no reason to bother with anything else.
>The Batman '66 producers said they wanted to do it Doesn't matter if they wanted to do it, the execs only care about their guaranteed cash cow, so they'd never green light it.
Aiden Hill
First of all, the 2 films didn't make a shitload of money. And the crossover could make more money than them.
Dylan Wilson
>First of all, the 2 films didn't make a shitload of money. Your point? They're direct to video animated features. They may as well not have made them in the first place.
>And the crossover could make more money than them. No it wouldn't. If anything, Wondy's inclusion would drive potential viewers away, because she would just distract from the Batman stuff they wanted to see.
Batman v Superman.
Easton Price
>That, and consumers only ever being interested in Batman. Popular opinion basically has it that he's the only good superhero, thus there's no reason to bother with anything else.
but DC makes no effort to attempt to push other than Batman, so no one knows about anyone else. Why not push Adam Strange, Doctor Fate, Swamp Thing, Metal Men, etc and try and get new markets/fans?
Jayden Phillips
>Your point? They're direct to video animated features. They may as well not have made them in the first place.
The point is that execs could greenlight the crossover if they greenlit the other 2 despite them not making a lot of money. Also, the first movie was released in theaters.
>No it wouldn't. If anything, Wondy's inclusion would drive potential viewers away, because she would just distract from the Batman stuff they wanted to see.
That's retarded. Sounds like you're just butthurt about Batman. The crossover comic sold well and even more people would be interested in seeing Lynda Carter come back as animated Wonder Woman.
Alexander Nelson
There was a wonder woman tv show?
Luis Watson
Also, although it would need some fixing specially for the 70s part, the story was pretty cool.
Nigga you better be baiting
Jose Lopez
>execs could greenlight the crossover if they greenlit the other 2 despite them not making a lot of money. But they won't, because they don't care.
>the crossover comic sold well No it didn't, most people don't even know it exists. Are you fucking stupid?
There's no point in promoting those characters, cause they don't sell.
Logan Murphy
Lynda is too busy getting the big money from Bethesda she even wrote and sang all her own music for Magnolia in FO4
Colton Richardson
...
Jaxson Wright
I actually doubt she would voice it. She embraces the character but at the same time has said she tries to not "banalize" Wonder Woman and capitalize on the past.
Maybe with some convincing though.
John Richardson
>There's no point in promoting those characters, cause they don't sell. Reminder that The Avengers as a brand have a retail sales value of less than 25% of Spider-Man's retail sales value.
Nathan Baker
Exactly. If it isn't Batman or Spider-Man, nobody cares.
