Best one that's going around at the moment - a ban on sugar, or a higher tax on products containing sugar in order to reduce obesity.
Now, in a society where there is government healthcare (like mine and the UK, where I've lived) this makes perfect sense in order to lower the MASSIVE strain fatcunts and fatcunt-related disease causes on the public purse. So, they are entirely justified in banning or taxing high-sugar products.
That means that I'm being punished for being healthy for the most part but when I do want say, a can of Coke, because somebody else wants to pour sugar down their gullet all day and be a fatcunt.
Now, without government healthcare, it would be in that person's best interests to not be a fat shit, or have very good health cover if they did choose to eat poorly. This means that we're all free to choose what we want to do to our own bodies.
The same goes for smoking. A pack of smokes is now $30-35 a pack here in Australia. Sure, the end result is good, but it's only justified because we have a public health system.
