Salary capping is fucking stupid if you actually get a job and can afford payments because the interest still accumulates so you are just locking yourself in for 15 years and banking on loan forgiveness. Imagine being 10 years in your career and making 120K a year and now you are paying $1,250 per month on student loans for 5 more years when you could have paid them off already if you just paid a little extra per year.
If you plan on making 30K for the next 15 years then it might be a good deal.

In Canada, tuition is way cheaper than the US cause it's partly subsidized by the gov (they pay like half of it). That said, we have higher income taxes (fuckkkk me). :(
Also, a lot of my friends left Canada to the US for programming gigs where they could get paid more, in USD, and have cheaper living conditions (housing everywhere in Canada is ridiculously expensive).
