If the popular vote was what mattered and Trump had focused his campaign's effort on it, he would have crushed Hillary there too.

Daily reminder that facts are meaningless right now

Daily reminder that means literally fuck all.

More people that voted, you mean.

And that's counting not only illegals, but voter fraud, as well.

People?

if the presidency was determined by popular vote you would have more people voting in places like california, so you can't really say what the outcome would have been.

this

imagine a group of 100 people at a restaurant and all the tables have a different number of people sitting on them, and then the host gets up and says "Free desert for everybody! but you guys need to vote for cake or ice cream" in a democratic vote, the tables with the most people get what they want, but in a REPUBLIC, people vote for a representatives to vote for them, this way tables with less people have a fair chance of getting what they want

People voted on the assumption that the electoral college system would be used - they played by the rules of the game. If you're a Republican living in a blue state like New York/California or a Democrat living in a red state like Texas then all voting gets you is jury duty - thus hundreds and thousands, if not millions of people would not have voted.

This is why it is disingenuous to point at the popular vote. It is a useless statistic.
