NYT set to start reporting the news honestly for once
>The publisher of The New York Times penned a letter to readers Friday promising that the paper would “reflect” on its coverage of this year’s election while rededicating itself to reporting on “America and the world” honestly.
>we're going to change things and report honestly >we were always reporting honestly wtf conspiratard
wat
Wyatt Sullivan
They're lying to you and this is another attempt at manipulating you into trusting them.
This is EXACTLY what a psychopath would do.
>Double down >Double down >Double down >Caught lying >Lose >I'm truly sorry, please forgive me
>Immediately begins lying to you again >Double down >Double down
This is why you don't negotiate with them, and you don't trust them. You remove them, permanently.
They will tell any lie, every lie. Anything to make you pause for a moment so they can stab a knife in your back. Once you know someone is a psychopath, you know they are an enemy to your culture, society, race, and community.
And the Media is a collective conglomeration of psychopaths.
Colton Barnes
Paper that lies promises it's not lying about not lying from now on?
Ethan Morales
Yeah, not gonna fall for it.

The MSM is in meltdown mode. They realize their time is up so now they are adjusting their strategies. They are a snake in the grass and a Trojan horse. We can't get fat and lazy off this victory, we have to punish them relentlessly until they cease to exist.
Jace Roberts
>(((Sulzberger)))
Alexander Mitchell

Luis Butler
Right. And if you're over the age of about 20 this is not the first time you remember America's self-described newspaper of record pulling this kind of shit.
I appreciate the NYT for some of their travel and culture features but their world news and political coverage has been tanked for a very long time.

>gief monies bc These fucking idiots know they are being forsaken because of their propaganda horseshit
And they are still claiming to report fairly
Xavier Long
Yeah, they've really reduced the quality of their reporting over the last couple of years. At some point the emphasis went from reporting what was observed to reporting what the editors thought about the observations. This was a mistake since it dramatically dilutes the value of their paper. This may have been a cost cutting measure since doing actual research is expensive and difficult but providing opinions costs essentially nothing.
Camden Jackson
Canada can range from having pretty gud posts to absolutely abhorrent ones. Strange country.

>nytimes.com/2016/11/10/public-editor/want-to-know-what-americas-thinking-try-asking.html >I'm sincerely sorry that so many of us "fly-over" moo cow people got off our tractors and shotgunned beers on our way to the voting barn and surprised you up there in NYC, but we really do get to vote, too. And when we were honest, all we got back were accusations of Hitlerian sympathies instead of open ears.
Aiden Martinez
>OVER BUDGET >BEHIND SCHEDULE Too little too late, cucks.
Nolan Wood
The comments bantz are godly. >Perhaps The Times should look at the backgrounds - ethnic, class, educational and geographic - of its reporters, editors and analysts. I am guessing they're generally a homogeneous - and elite - bunch who treat traveling in America outside the East Coast like taking an anthropological field trip.
>The other issue is that, early on, your newspaper developed a narrative of what the 2016 campaign would look like and stuck to it even when it was shown to be wrong: Hillary Clinton would coast to the nomination and face Jeb Bush in November, whom she would beat handily. Bernie Sanders was a peculiar sideshow whom you ignored or dismissed until mid-to-late summer (as did the Clinton campaign); Donald Trump was an outrageous (but entertaining) freak who appealed to people who were entirely alien to your staff so you covered him extensively as a curiosity. In both instances, you missed the story - Sanders was tapping into the same vein of anger that Trump was, but in a more coherent and programmatic way and drawing tens of thousands to rallies day after day; Trump wasn't just a personality, he was somebody skilled at solidifying a base in a non-traditional way that your reporters couldn't see. In both cases (and abetted by the DNC) you were so beholden to your narrative that you weren't listening - and let the real story slip through your fingers.
Nathaniel Cooper
>we're gonna tell you the truth now, goy- >guys
