Where do they go now? Left or right?

Where do they go now? Left or right?

Into the trash

if they go left, they die.

and it looks like they're going further left, if the bernouts have anything to say about it.

I hope they go far left, then they would never win another election again because once people start hearing that they will have to be taxed 90% of their income to fund tranny surgeries, baby killing, and free college, they will just stay home.

They need to stay in the center if they want to win elections. Hillary was a centerist but the problem was she was a deeply flawed/corrupt candidate that was elevated by the elites in the Democratic party.
Moving further left would be a mistake. Their left wing is currently made up of a bunch of little snowflakes that turn on each other the second someone says something they don't like. You can't build a sustainable coalition with those people.

>democrats go hard left and alienate almost everybody
>republicans shift to Trump's moderate populism
It's ogre, the republicans are going to be in control for the foreseeable future.

they should go back to the middle a little and stop using identity politics so much
but lets be honest they'll do literally the opposite

if Trump wins re-election and widens his base, the democrats are dead for the next 50 years

Left.

In the past week, EVERYONE I have talked to -- young, old, black, white, gay, straight, Trump, Clinton -- has said that they would have loved to see Bernie go all the way.

I think a lot of this country underestimated the power of that man. I went to a rally for Bernie, one for Trump, and one for Clinton. You have no idea how electric the Bernie rally felt. 15,000 people and he commanded that crowd so well. It was such a shocker he lost our state in the primaries, considering he held two more rallies with the same numbers. Trump's was close in effect, I won't deny. But Clinton's... yikes...

Any idiot on the street could have told you she was not a good candidate.

I'm 100% with you.

They're looking at it as a failure of their positions, but it was actually a failure of a candidate. Had they nominated Bernie, it would have been a failure of their positions, rather than the failure of a candidate.

They're interpreting this 100% wrong, and as a result, they're going to get fucking SHELLACKED in the upcoming two elections, and three if they keep this shit up.

Americans don't want radical change, and they never have in the modern era. If they keep throwing out condescending Ivy League white hating social justice warriors, they're going to lose.

Clinton (Bill) is exactly what they need to strive for, and Obama is the absolute farthest they should go when the conditions call for it.

Sure, until they saw the actual details of his tax proposals, or heard his history with communism and the USSR, and comments on breadlines and charity, or heard about open borders, or gave actual thoughts into the impossibilities of what he was proposing.

He'd have done worse than Clinton, no question. Bottom of the ticket? He'd have won it for her, easily.

Wait, what was is his history with the USSR?

Honeymooned in the USSR. Had a fucking USSR flag hanging in his mayoral office. Named his town's baseball team the 'Reds' as a hat tip to communism. Spoke extremely highly of breadlines.

Dude is a full-blown communist in a friendlier Western European socialist disguise. Guy's a piece of shit.

Everything I've seen indicates they're going to shift left and up the identity politics even more.
>if Trump wins re-election and widens his base, the democrats are dead for the next 50 years
Republicans are in the best position they've ever been in. Democrats will still be tearing themselves apart in two years' time and assuming Trump gets some of his agenda through, we're looking at 3/5 majority in two years and the ability to amend the Constitution.

yeah i know we could be looking for 16 years of republican rule if trump is decent or better. especially true since white are increasingly becoming a voting bloc

Into the incinerator.

>He'd have done worse than Clinton, no question.
He definitely would've been demolished in my cuckservative county that broke a 80 year red streak this year. Don't know if he would've lost the Blue Wall though.

>amend the constitution
And what were you planning on changing user?

He would've gotten destroyed in the Midwest way worse than Clinton was, I promise. You CAN'T possibly win with mostly college kids and minorities voting for you (not that minorities were that big of fans of him, either) when all conservatives, all independents, all elderly voters, and any Democrat with money turns their backs on you. An atheistic Jewish socialist would have gotten fucking blasted in every red and remotely purple state. I'm talking 90-10% results in red states.

Florida and Virginia would have especially been a fucking bloodbath, that I can promise you.

There is not a human being alive who wants their taxes to go up to the levels that would be required for the shit he was proposing, and his anti-white rhetoric and open border proposals. Dude was a fucking pipe dream candidate who never had any negative attention paid to him because nobody took him seriously.

If he can't win the fucking Democratic primary (blah blah stacked against him, but he still didn't come close), he certainly can't win the Presidency.

double down on the identity politics. it's working out really well for us.

Repeal the 14th amendment.

If they go left on economics while staying right on social issues they'd have a real chance. That's part of the reason that Trump was able to beat Hillary in the general election. Hillary was seen as being a puppet of the 1% not to mention all of the cries of "sexism" and "racism" just pissed off the white working class.

With that said, knowing the democrats, they're too cucked to do that, they'll probably keep trying to appeal to SJWs and niggers while sucking corporate/banker dick behind the scenes.

repeal the 19th

I swear if the GOP waste the constitutional amendment opportunity on shit like gay marriage I would vote democrat from then on just out of spite. It hurts because I know the cuckservatives are stupid enough to do it, too.

it depends,. its way too early to tell

if trump starts a war like vietnam or against russia than people will definitely vote for the democrats regardless

Right now, the Democratic Party is a corporatist party masquerading as a party for social justice warriors and minorities. It does little, if anything, to advance their causes, but it panders to them because it can't appeal to working class whites anymore and it needs something else to distract attention from its corporatist focus. Hillary Clinton is the epitome of the current state of the Party.

I see three paths for them:

1: They stay the course, learn absolutely nothing from this loss and remain as they are, and either keep losing or win due to demographic changes. Most likely outcome.

2: The party is taken over by Bernouts and left-wing working class types and becomes the left side of the Trump coin.

3: The party is taken over by the SJWs and minorities it panders to, and becomes practically a communist party. Least likely outcome.
