This cost me $80 per month. Not terrible obviously, but could be much better.

The thing is, where I live, Cox essentially has a complete monopoly. There is AT&T as well, but you won't be getting even 1/3rd of my speeds with them, and I'm not even on the best Cox plan.

I'm not even rural Australian. I live in a heavily populated area and I get the same speeds. This countries internet infrastructure is a pathetic joke.

I'm not even kidding, about 500 or so meters up my street gets really fast fibre. The pathetic thing is, the housing in that suburb is poor as shit compared to my area.

Houses in my suburb, sick as fuck waterfront houses run about 1+ mill and we can only get ADSL2. Shitty neighborhood with 300+k houses gets fibre.
