The music for this show makes every cartoon I've watched since feel disappointing.
Daniel Ingram, small horse that’s mine
He has some old fashioned albeit good taste and composes decent tributes of what he listens, but the guy cannot create something original which sounds good if his Hollywood promotion depends on it.
The one thing I don't like about cartoon composers is that everything sounds like a watered down version of every actual movie soundtrack and real genuine song.
>The one thing I don't like about cartoon composers is that they don't compose anything
This is what your complaint sounds like.
>Waah I hate you and everything you say why must you tell me the truth, I hate you!
And this is what your retort sounds like.
I only wish Prelude sounded more like a worn out old record, kind of like "Empty Bliss Beyond This World"

>not Noam Kaniel and Alain Garcia
That Miraculous Ladybug theme, What's with Andy? season 2 (the instrumental in particular), and most of all the entirety of the W.I.T.C.H. OST
Noam Kaniel sucks. The music in modern Power Rangers is bullshit. Even the Ladybug theme gets overplayed with no nuance.
Scott Bradley might be the best of them all. He's like Carl Stalling but more sophisticated as a musician.
>Even the Ladybug theme gets overplayed with no nuance.
Are you talking about the OST? Because I don't actually watch the show anyways, can't stand it.
Kevin kiner's work on the star wars animated shows is stellar.
You know, composers for cartoons are pretty underrated. As someone who loves the music from a lot of shows and a musician, I've never thought to look up the names of composers I like.
As such, here's a shout out to Patric Caird for having one of the most natural fitting soundtracks to its animation.

I blame Tom & Jerry for my current fucked up taste of music. The show had a brilliant soundtrack...but was it ever released? Fuck, I'd kill to get my hands on the track that plays when Tom rides the train.
Classic cartoon soundtracks are great, there was even an album with the scores to a couple of Looney Tunes cartoons released a while back.
Dammit, I just learned that old captcha doesn't work any more.
