How to Win Friends and Influence People

Go to the gym, go to church, eat healthily, and read widely. Read old fiction, and new nonfiction. There are lots of good modern books on history or politics, but you need to go further back for good literature. Look up a list of essential Western literature and try some out. And get all the official education you can. If you're thinking about girls, don't. That'll come once you feel confident enough about yourself. Oh, and don't watch porn.

This, honestly. It's easy to follow, apply and use in your everyday life. It works too, and when it starts working, your confidence rockets. When you have confidence, life gets easier.

Two Questions
1. Is religion necessary? I don't think I can force myself to believe
2. Is porn really that bad?

you should praise Kek on a daily basis

I tried to help, but you didn't answer my question.

Stop watching porn

No.
Not in moderation.

This will help you man up, I'm not joking

A good man is strong, confident, independent, intelligent, kind (to a point), etc.

This book teaches you how to be a doormat who lets people walk all over you. It also teaches you to conform to other people's opinions and social norms. Forget having your own viewpoints, it teaches you how to be a good goy who is scared to hurt people's feelings.

What do you recommend? (doesn't have to be literature)

Ok. Well, to get strong, you exercise. I consider myself fit, and never go to the gym. Walk my dogs every day so long as weather permits, and use Carrot's exercise app on my iPhone daily.

Confidence comes from knowing and accepting who you are. If you aren't happy with who you are, you know what you need to change in order to become that person.

Independence comes from self-reliance. That means having a job that isn't McWork. Look for an apprenticeship.

Intelligence is outside changing. But if you are looking for wisdom, philosophy is a great place to go. Start with Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics and Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet.

Kindness is the easiest, but comes with independence. I purchased a Venezuelan's plane ticket a couple months ago, for example. 300 bucks. Not nothing. Could have used it elsewhere. But he was eating dog food in the attempt to save up enough money to get out of the country. I spent 300 bucks to give him a future. Money well spent, in my opinion.

It all comes down to making the right choices consistently in the moment, and reading up on at least basic philosophy.
