if it wasn't for the fucking art man

No kidding.

Spidey other identities reunion?

pretty much

mephisto's involved too

Why is this consistently better than any of the actual Spider-man comics?
I hope Cyber and whatever demon Black Marvel is at least get a chance to do good.

If I didn't leave in a third world hole where I'd have to pay 4 times more for this comic because of exchange ratio I'd be purchasing the digital every time it comes out (I still do if I can afford it, sometimes).

Unfortunately that's not how it goes.

I feel like that second panel from the bottom was traced straight from Nemesis

is this book anygood?
i dont know that even based PAD could rescue Ben from the mess slott created
PAD is a competent writer

This book is very good, and redeems Ben by not completely redeeming him. He still thinks what he did was right. He still thinks he's a hero, and still tries to be a hero.

That's the problem, though. You really had an argument for what Ben was doing right until the dumb swerve where he decides not only to kill Peter but be fine with genociding humanity.

Everything else is a gray area, but he wasn't acting out of twirling mustaches to ruin people's lives just because. But the resolution to that plotline was a fucking mess.

PAD is a better writer than Slott, Houser, Bendis, Latour and Zdarksy

I've been enjoying it so far, although it still kills me that Bagley only did the first arc and Sliney replaced him.

They address this by revealing that Ben's soul has been corrupted due to being pulled back and forth between life and death dozens of times in just a few years, and that if he dies again before he can redeem himself, he'll never have a chance of being a hero again.

Oh yeah I've been following it, user. This is the single solitary comic book that makes me look up previews before it releases.

My biggest peeve is still not getting Ben blonde like he said he was after his run-in with Death. I wonder if they'll amend these mistakes in the trade paperbacks, since there's a lot of wrong character speech bubbles as well and even sentences cut halfway sometimes.

Was that the highest bar you could find?

>Still harping on Ben beating that guy up
Maybe I actually am desensitized to violence but wasn't he a bad guy who was fucking over the refugees that Ben's boss was trying to help?

Yeah, but Ben beat the guy so hard he's pretty much stuck in a hospital.

Oh right, that event is happening in Las Vegas too.

Didn't he have those Spider-men cosplayers shoot up the casino?

Marvel desperately needs to hire editors again.

Who else do you want to compare them to? Gabby? Waid? PAD is one of the best writers Marvel has, hands down.

Some of the team was working for the guy he beat up. He paid their bills, and sent them out to do good. In their eyes, he's the hero, Ben's boss is the villain.

They were sent to steal food that was going towards survivors of the Hydra attack on Las Vegas

And "Hornet" was the one working for the guy Ben beat up, you know the Hornet who turned out to be Cyber
