Why is the electoral college being contested so much right now?

why is the electoral college being contested so much right now?

not just by assblasted clinton supporters (though mainly) but most everyone are contesting the system and don't understand it. are we going to see a day where it's removed?

>why is the electoral college being contested so much right now?
It's not.

>what is ignorance

Why are some states neither blue nor red yet?

the globalists want it removed because direct democracy is easier for elites to propaganda.

>media jews crying and subhumans burning down their own cities

yep its nothing

Votes not yet counted, and the ones with red shade are leaning republican and the ones with blue are leaning democrat.

Because it is outdates and it doesn't fulfil it's original purpose.
Doing away with it completely is retarded though.

because the last two republican presidents lost the popular vote in their first term.

Because everyone with some sense wanted Clinton because she may be corrupt but she's not a fucking uncontrollable children like Trump and she lost the election in a complete upset

Thanks. And when will they all be counted?

you would need a constitutional amendment to change it amirite? so not very likely

>it doesn't fulful it's original purpose
except it did exactly what it was meant to do this year: keep big, ignorant of the heartland and even hateful to them, states from fucking over the small guys.

op you gotta remember the people contesting it are the same dumbasses who don't believe in borders

You are aware globalists want LESS democracy, right?

Probably when the whole popular vote thing blows over.

Because they lost, if they had won they would demand this.. which kinda reveals them as disgusting opportunists and narcissists that dont care about anyone else.

Hillary had more popular popular votes.

they're just asshurt that they lost on such a big scale

when you control the media, more democracy is less democracy. look around at all these brainwashed morons believing everything off the news of how trump is hitler

Even if some bizzaro world they managed to successfully contest the concept of the electoral college, it won't affect the outcome of this election because the candidates formed their entire campaign plan around the electoral vote.

Because the popular vote isn't important to the Left unless it goes against their best interests.

Which is a pain in the ass, if they were to count up the absentee ballots and the military votes, Trump would certainly leap ahead of Hillary and it could shut up all this bullshit.

But they're deliberately stalling so they can push this "national divide" shit.

There is a pact called

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Popular_Vote_Interstate_Compact

But it's highly unlikely to ever have the prerequisite 270 electoral votes.

How a state allocates its electoral votes is up to the state, however it would take amendments to get rid of the electoral college itself.

> are we going to see a day where it's removed?

Doubtful. It's there for a reason. Direct democracy is dangerous. It leads to mob rule. That is why we are a representative republic.

If we weren't basically 4 states would control every election - NY, CA, TX, and FL.

Besides it would take a constitutional convention to change this.

quick math problem: what's the minimum number of popular votes a candidate needs to win an election in the electoral college system?
this has a precise answer

In 2000 this shit was worse.
