I disagree with him more than I used to, but his goals and mine tend to align most of the time even if we have different ideas of how to solve problems. Akkad, if you are reading this, the art of convincing people is not to give them the answer. It's to steer the conversation in a way that would have them discover your perspective themselves. Even the most open of individuals are heavily defensive of their opinions and perspectives; it means that they are more likely to fight to the death against views that contradict their own, and likewise fight to the death to preserve a view coherent with theirs.
