I actually find it is incredibly fitting that it is a woman.
French women have proven to be very influential and their contribution to Frances history and culture have been great (Joan of Arc and Marie Curie instantly jump to mind).
I believe in this woman and her ideals and I will be keeping a close eye on this campaign of hers.
She will face many of the same problems that Trump faced (being labelled a racist among other things) purely for putting the safety and well being of her people first, despite this being, in my opinion the most important quality of a leader.
