Sup Forumsnfessions: I haven't watched the show since sophomore slump

Same, I felt so bad for both Jackie and Marco. Plus I didn't want to leave earth really. Kind of disappointing they didn't use all of the characters.

>Never seen an episode of Star Vs.
>I don't give a fuck about Pacifica, she was really boring, same with Wendy
>I don't like Steven Universe
>Gumball bores me
>Don't like The Loud House
>I love wakfu but still havent watched S3

This guy made me realise I'm into teachers.

I would say more about it but this is a blue board.

but he's hideous and annoying and a terrible teacher

but

but i like him

>I would say more about it but this is a blue board.
Father Hulk does not judge. Father Hulk smash puny sins.

>I've never seen Wakfu, or Young Justice, or Korra, or Avatar, or Teen Titans, or Batman the Animated Series, any of those action shows. Neither do I really feel the drive to see them.
>Spongebob is the best cartoon of all time
>The Lego Movie and Toy Story are the best animated films I've personally ever seen
>Gravity Falls was good beginning to end with some minor fuck ups in season 2
>Regular Show is the best cartoon of the decade and is one of CN'S greatest along with Courage, the Ed boys, and Samurai Jack
>Loud House is actually pretty good
>Star Vs is really good but I'm never hooked. At least it's going faster than Steven Universe
>Speaking of SU, it's fucking terrible in every way now. I miss the first two seasons
>Wreck It Ralph, Bolt, and Zootopia are my favorite Disney movies
>I never read comics
>Disney XD sucks as a network and nothing has anything new. It would help if they did new episode blocks
>Cartoon Network is getting better and Apple and Onion looks pretty good
>OK KO is the best cartoon running in the states
>We Bare Bears is surprisingly good, it's not amazing but it has some great episodes and hints at future lore
>Teen Titans Go is fucking hilarious because of how retarded it is and how mad it makes people
>Gumball is still ok, it's just running low on steam
>Capeshit and Star Wars need to take a break
>Inside Out was just okay, while Cars 3 was fantastic
>I have never watched The Simpsons
>Family Guy is fucking hilarious
>The serialized South Park seasons are amazing

Feels nice to write this stuff down.

I havent watched it since star defeated toffee again, because i heard marco and her are separated and im not in the mood for depressing drama shit, and want them to go back on adventures

>Teen Titans Go is fucking hilarious because of how retarded it is
Die

>i hate the samurai jack ending
>im still mad over IM3, AOU, and homecoming
>i fucking hate all of Cns new upcoming cartoons
>all TTG and disney shills must die

Y'all get really mad at TTG lmao. It's a stupid flash show of all things.

You haven't missed much.

Its terrible humor and the fact they wont stop playing it means it deserves as much hatred it recieves

>In most cases, giving a non gun wielding character a gun is a stupid idea because a) it'll remove clever planning that makes up good stories in most cases (as they just shoot their problems, to varying effectivess) and b) having guns compete with superpowers makes them seem utterly ridiculous, like someone winning a fist fight with a foam hand (except not quite as amusing)
>Nothing was wrong with the Gravity Fallls finale; you want to see a bad finale? Watch the X files/Twin Peaks series enders.
>Steven Universe is a flamboyant show; however it's hardly got an LGBT agenda other than 'gays exist'. A whole set of episodes is dedicated to how Greg cucks Steven's mother figure with his mother, for instance.
>That being said, the show has dropped in quality, simply because the release schedule is worse than Fallout 3's at this point
>Comic writers need to learn how to write protege/mentor stories; it would make half the stories published in the last three years far more bearable
>South Park episodes that bully Cartman are the best episodes
>Cape Feare is highly underrated
>I liked MCU Ultron, not particularly arsed that he had a mouth
>Mildly annoyed that Serkis' character is alive after having his arm chopped off, and being dropped to his death in a factory. Other than that, I have no negative feelings about black panther, except maybe that the car chase seems redundant
>I give zero shits about the venom movie either way
>I'm optimistic for the Han Solo movie, but I still feel Star Wars needs a decent single player game to draw people into the new larger and more canon universe
>If Rey doesn't wield a double saber next movie, I will be legitimately pissed off
>Still hoping they're pulling a KOTOR 2 with Rey acting as a beacon for force sensitives, and thus future Jedi disciplies with the ST, but I grow less optimistic each day
>Darth Krayt, SWTOR and Vuuzhan Vong were plenty of reason to destroy the EU alone

It's just a cartoon get over your dramatic selves. Some shows just aren't for you. Some are made to be stupid and that's okay.

Star and Marco get reunited not too long after they are seperated.

However, instead of "Depressing drama shit" we got "Romance drama shit" which is even worse. They shoehorned in another love triangle (between Star, Tom, and Marco) and the romance drama has pretty much taken over the show. Star and Marco have also become noticeably ruder towards both each other and other characters. Especially Marco who has become an implusive thrill seeker that gets shit on by the other characters way too much.

Star and Marco are both unlikable assholes now.

It's gotten to the point that nobody is even rooting for Starco anymore.

i haven't watched the show at all

Star Vs has been pretty bad in season 3. But the departure of your bland waifu isn't why. Jackie was never interesting, she was just generically "perfect" because she was never developed enough to have any flaws.

I like anime

>Sonic Archie was ok and had some good ideas
>SJ,EEnE and Courage were the best cartoons
>Never watched Arthur
>Star Vs would be better without Marco
>Never liked Imperial Era in SW
>Never cared about capeshit
>Hater is overrated
>Fujoshits n shippers ruin fandoms
>I liked Jake's new dragon look in American Dragon season 2
>Adventure Time was ruined by shippers expectations
>Ant movies were fine
>Ice Age 1,2,3 were fine
>Danny Phantom was never good

I haven't watched it since Star defeated toffee, did jackie get cucked yet?

Jackie got dumped and written out of the show.

Marco's getting cucked by Tom and Star.

>nore tom
God fucking damnit im pissed. And now they ruined the character dynamic between the two? Fuck, why cant they just get together already, you can still have the show go on. I hate this rule that final pairings have to wait till the finale.

No fuck you, its killing the industry and dumb little bitchs that find it funny deserve to be beaten to death

>Marco's getting cucked by Tom and Star.
Fuck that awful abusive bastard for being a horrible character, how dare he cuck marco. Im so fucking mad im going to have to skip these episodes

Marco has like, 3 different girls he's leading on despite only really being interested in Star. He's kind of an asshole now.

And Star is keeping Marco around as a sort of emotional boyfriend while Tom is the guy who gets to fuck her. She's kind of a bitch too.

Honestly, both Star and Marco look like shit now and nobody actually wants them to get together anymore. They're both awful people and don't even deserve each other.

Fair enough, but out of all the Sup Forums teachers why Crocker?

>I'll defend Tom King on almost any run except for Batman; it stinks.
>Doomsday Clock is a horrible idea. Not a Moorefag, but Johns doesn't have what it takes to do a competent sequel to Watchmen.
>Young Animal is good for the most part but Milk Wars is disappointing. Crossing over with Orlando's JLA almost made me think about skipping it altogether. Should've been the main JL or just be an intertitle crossover.
>Foolkiller was a gem people didn't appreciate
>Valiant's renaissance had a lot of potential and squandered it all. Faith was a really bad choice to push almost everywhere. Don't get me started on the Hillary Clinton push.
>King of the Hill is GOAT, but the last 3 seasons suck.
>New Ducktales is a disappointing failure and I honestly hope they cancel it.
>China, IL never should have been canceled and Harg Nallin Sclopio Peepio wasn't as bad as people said (but it shouldn't have existed either way).
>There's only 30 good episodes of The Simpsons.

Sup Forumsnfessions, opinions whatever.

My god, how did this show get so bad. I dont want to catch up now in fear of tainting my love for this show and the characters

That's okay, I haven't watched this show since Starcrushed besides that Stump/Spider episode which was pretty mediocre.

Nefcy was way too into the cuck shit and wanted more suffering.

She forgot to make her characters likable so there isn't really anyone to root for anymore.

>TLH is boring shit that only waifufags enjoy
>Ludo and Buffrog are the only good characters in Star Vs. now that Ludo and Jackie are gone
>Unikitty is good and Richard is the best character
>If you're gonna have romance in a cartoon that isn't completely focused on romance, don't make it 'will they won't they' or any love triangle bullshit. Just make it cute.
>OK K.O.! is the best cartoon airing right now
>Hanazuki should be more popular
>TTG is always on a range from medicore - goodish

Holy fuck I can't believe how hype this board was for the Toffee battle but how shit they think the show is now.

>OK K.O.! is the best cartoon airing right now
That's pretty depressing.

The show basically became the nonstop shipping nightmare that it was accused of being back when it actually wasn't.

I wasnt hyped for toffee battle, honestly i just want funny episodic episodes again instead of this depressing cuck bullshit

Is OKKO's new season better? I remember enjoying only the first and last quarters of s1.

Is the people screwing this season the same that made last season so great?

I legitimately loved Steven Universe for the first two seasons and considered it one of my favorite TV shows of all time. Now I wish it got cancelled during that giant hiatus in season 2 because it just got worse and worse from there on out. The lackluster, tension-lacking plot just isn't worth caring about anymore, and the hiatuses are too long for what little content is put out.

It's almost exactly the same damn crew, including the people who would've worked on the Toffee stuff back in the first season and set up the plotline of the second, which is what makes it so annoying when they're all like "wow I LOVED this season!" when talking about their work on it. Like shit guys, where are your priorities

I know they couldn't/wouldn't say "yeah this season's shit, we mostly just fucked around with making every conceivable pairing canon, lol, fighting villains is boring," but I don't remember anyone on the crew sucking S2's dick that hard when that was airing, despite that beating the shit out of 3 in every way.

I can't defend it anymore. I look back at my favorite episodes of season one and there was just so much more heart to it. Like Sugar was really giving it her all back then now that she was finally making her dream come true. It doesn't seem like her heart's really in it anymore, you know?

I feel like the prolonged hiatus is actually hurting the show.

At first I was like "Well, take your time and do a good job". But after a whole summer of nothing, then a whole fall of nothing and then a fall episode released around new years? Come on, step it up crewniverse. It worked for A:TLA because there was anticipation for a big conflict, and you havn't built that up in the same way.

I am an adult virgin who watches cartoons, just putting that out there.

>To this day I never watched Korra past Book 2
>I felt it was amazing but it stretched the conceptual universe to the limit. Once you fought an incarnation of absolute evil, you can only go with weaker villains). I was planning on picking it up after book 4 came out, but the over hype of Korrasami has kind of spoiled the series for me.)

And by s1 I meant "up to the Plaza Prom ep." I messed that up.

What an incomprehensible mess then. Seems like they're creating this poorly thought "bridge" to stretch whatever they had planed for the show into four seasons, thus the ever so elusive Eclipsa's Trial among other things. But even if they get past it and back on their original though-out track, the damage's already done.

(1/2)

>AT and RS are awesome when it doesn't involve romantic BS; when that does happen, they're GARBAGE

>Adventure Time, Regular Show, Gumball > OK K.O.!, WBB > Mighty Magiswords, Clarence > Unikitty >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Fucking Social Justice Universe

>Social Justice Universe is what I'm proud to call the show because it's boring, unfunny, unfocused, inconsistent art-style - infested BS whose only advantage is that its backgrounds look pretty

>Star Vs. was only interesting because of Ludo in S2 and Toffee in general; everything else, beside the artstyle, sucks ass, especially the main focus herself

>Ducktales (2017), Mickey Mouse (2013), Tangled: TAS, Milo Murphy's Law, Gravity Falls S2 >>>>>>>>>>>>> Star Vs. && Gravity Falls (S1)

>Penn Zero: PTH and Future-Worm! are criminally underrated gems that I'd watch anyday over Star Vs. && Gravity Falls (S1); Rick & Morty is better than both at the whole "multiple dimensions/universes" thing, however

>Welcome to the Wayne is a better Gravity Falls than Gravity Falls in every way, save for art - style

>Tangled: TAS is a better Star Vs. than Star Vs. in just about every way once it really gets going

>Craig of the Creek looks to be a better Clarence than Clarence has overall turned out

>Final Space looks to be a better Bravest Warriors than Bravest Warriors has overall turned out

>Harvey Beaks is the BEST thing to come out of Nickelodeon in a long time; Welcome to the Wayne follows in a close, but respectable second; Loud House barely comes in third for me

>The Loud House is overrated as fuck and doesn't truly get good until more focus is put on the sisters, including even the ones I don't like (not saying names, BTW.)

It feels like they just straight never had a plan for what to do after killing Toffee beyond whatever the Eclipsa/Realm of Magic stuff turns out to be, which at least might be actually interesting.

Apparently they didn't find out they even had a 4th season until some time into S3, which just makes things worse in my eyes. They thought it would be their last season, and so establishing a Star/Tom relationship and making so many dull episodes that technically advance plot (everything involving the squire shit, Starfari, etc.) were seen as acceptable?

Shit taste

(2/2)

>MLAATR, Invader Zim, Danny Phantom, FOP,... All GARBAGE that make me thankful for Harvey Beaks, Welcome to the Wayne, and even The Loud House

>The only classic (really old) Nicktoons I really like are Rocko's Modern Life, As Told By Ginger, Rugrats (S1-5), Avatar: TLA, & El Tigre; Chalkzone, Legend of Korra, and Aaah! Real Monsters are MEH, everything else from Nick's past - I FUCKING HATE IT or haven't seen it (nor do I want to.)

>The only classic CN shows I've ever liked, considered GOOD, and can still stick up for are PPG, Samurai Jack, Cow & Chicken, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Codename: KND, and Ed, Edd, n' Eddy

>Sym-Bionic Titan, and Megas XLR were good and needed to last longer, albeit with less high school BS in SBT's case; Generator Rex was okay, but nothing worth gushing over

>Foster's, Billy & Mandy, I.M. Weasel, Chowder, Flapjack, and anything Ben 10-related are MEH; everything else from Classic CN not mentioned on my GOOD or MEH list is GARBAGE.

>98% of anime is garbage and I will rarely ever stick up for the 2% that doesn't fucking suck - EVER

>Bob's Burgers, Robot Chicken, King of the Hill, Rick & Morty, Futurama (especially S1 - S4), Home Movies, and Simpsons (S3 - S8) are probably the best adult sitcoms I can sit down to and derive enjoyment out of, off the top of my head

>Hot Streets is alright - but nothing truly spectacular

>Archer, Black Dynamite: TAS and Venture Bros. are good, but not stuff I really kept up with, unfortunately

>The Boondocks has good fight scenes, but is fucking garbage, otherwise

That's all for now.

Everything here is hat I think of the current state of animation today and I am proud of my "shit" taste. Thank you and take care.

Whatever, nigga

I also bailed out, but just upon hearing where the show was going to go in the post-"Battle for Mewni" episodes. The "movie" makes for an adequate if really abrupt series finale like that.

>I'd also like to add that I'm looking forward to more episodes of Big Hero 6:TAS, as well as Villainous, which looks to be a much better Billy & Mandy / Invader Zim than BOTH combined.

>I don't see what the fuss is all about on Infinity Train and hope it's just a miniseries like Over the Garden Wall if it ever happens - anything else coming from CN - I DON'T REALLY CARE all that much

I enjoy waifu-posting

>Tarantula and Ugly Americans are two more animated sitcoms that should have lasted longer

>The Critic may have lasted only 2 seasons but is still awesome & nearly timeless, even to this day

>Hey Arnold! is another classic Nicktoon I enjoy and am sorry to neglected

> Daria, Pepper Ann, like As Told by Ginger & Hey Arnold!, are gold standard examples of teen - aimed cartoons; The Weekenders, Recess, and Kim Possible are OK, but nothing to shout home about for me

OK - hopefully, I've got everything off my chest now.

Oh, a few more things...

>Wander Over Yonder has good background presentations and animation, but its main character is annoying as fuck; Sylvia, Hater, and Peepers are awesome, though; I also hate Dominator, tbqfh

>The 7D is only noteworthy for Queen Delightful and especially Hildy Gloom

>I don't think Sanjay and Craig is that bad, but it's nowhere near on the levels of HB, WttW, or TLH

I LOVE WISHFART

CNiggers are too easy to spot

Because I'm a huge fucking sucker for evil men who are batshit crazy but somewhat lovable. But bonus points for being a hot teacher.

After all, other Sup Forums men who have sparked my interests are Doofenshmirtz and Dick Dastardly.

I like Land Before Time porn.

>Fucking Social Justice Universe
Fuck you for calling it that and placing that shit WBB in front of it. Also welcome to the wayne is one of the most terrible cartoons of the decade

I can't wait for the Teen Titans Go nostalgia threads we'll have in 2022.

I swear if that happens i will jay and silent bob every one of those little shits

>its killing the industry
fuck off lee

>durr everyone critic is a e celeb
Not an argument you fucking nerd

>Fuck, why cant they just get together already, you can still have the show go on. I hate this rule that final pairings have to wait till the finale.

It really is irritating when shows do that. If it's going to be the final pairing then it's absolutely should NOT get less screentime than the all the other pairings.

How is he "leading on" girls that he overtly has no interest in (or in Janna's case outright dislikes)?

And LMAO @ the idea of Tom scoring. Star shuts him down whenever he tries to get past 1st base.

I watched the first half of the first episode. Could not stand that fucking unicorn head. Just the fucking worst, most annoying thing ever.
I love mlp

Welcome to the club user. If it makes you feel any better, I'm 27 have no job, and haven't even held hands with a girl. Believe me, you aren't alone.

Same and I have money and can buy anything I want. I recently bought a new 55' TV so I can watch cartoons.
