They are based on Patrick Nagel's artwork. Kind of dug themselves into a hole there though, admittedly.
I think you could pull off black characteristics with the pale skin, though I can't recall any black characters.

The episodes became Rad centric, and were generally funnier than most of the first half of the series. The jokes weren't falling nearly as flat, at least in my opinion.

I loved the series but many were starting to turn heads in Sup Forums for episode 3 with the Strike Visualizers. Not sure what was so great about it but maybe I wasn't paying attention I was too busy waifuing one of the minor characters. She liked to chase and fuck cops.

They were just having lunch.

It's yet more proof that eye candy alone will never be enough.

I wish someone told me it didn't start getting great until towards the end... There were some good episodes interspersed throughput but it took too damn long to find its voice.

There were a couple obviously chicano characters who were the focus of a subplot, and I swear there might have been a black character to two too.

You had to identify based off of facial features rather than skin tone. Iirc the arabian characters were the same Patrick Nagel White shade as everyone else too.

It is but I think Comedy Central should of given it one more season to see if it could grow out of it. The show had potential. But no they decided to give Chamberlin Heights a second chance...

Ontop of not giving them a chance, they spent their money poorly.
I loved the show but half their cast didn't warrant their casting. They did a good job but I can't help but feel a better VA for half the price.
Only Will Forte was th only one I think was killing it and really he's practically an established Voice Actor at this point.
And all the guest VAs.
Also the AUDACITY to be well animated.
