Everyone complains about the police not arresting Illegals in this case. It's not really their job to do so as it takes a lot of funds out of actual issues in the city when half of the illegals are trying to stay under the radar. I think Trump would start a group alongside ICE to go and round up the illegals for deportation. There are already a few immigrant camps in the US so far where illegals caught in border states go and they see if they're worth keeping or in a bad situation and can't be sent back without ethical issues (IE Top prostitutes who only work for gang leaders stealing a bunch of shit, pawning it, and border hopping). Right now they mainly only hold women and kids under 18 but they're about to expand that to young adult males as well.

Anyways, we already have a few of these systems in place, I think if Trump is serious he'll expand on it.

Take for example Austin, Texas - the State Capitol of Texas.
Austin is home to the Texas government, but Austin has it's own autonomous democratically elected mayor and city council (kinda in a way like Washington D.C.) that are local government not state government.
Austin's local city government has declared Austin a sanctuary city. Austin is a part of the county of Travis - itself the next tier up level of local government.
Austin Police department and any city of Austin managed auxiliary law enforcement - like Cap Metro Security, cannot by city law, enforce federal law on illegals.
Travis county selectively cooperates with federal and state immigration policy - meaning they are only looking for criminals who are illegals.
So Travis County Sheriff's will only comply when it's convienient.

But Austin, like I said earlier, is home to the Capitol and central government of the state of Texas.
Meaning Texas Rangers, Texas State Troopers, Highway Patrol, Texas Capitol Police, University of Texas Campus Police and Texas Parks and Wildlife Police - which are all up deep in Austin, will completely ignore the cities bullshit and will follow federal and state law - identify, arrest, hand off to immigration authorities. Austin also has branch offices for the FBI, DEA, INS, ICE, CBP, etc which all must follow federal law if they come into contact with an illegal alieum

So an illegal would have to be careful in downtown Austin near the capitol, because staties won't mess around

What also sets Sanctuary cities apart is they'll issue drivers licenses, residency, and give welfare to illegals, assist in their job search, allow them to open businesses or buy property or do all the other shit a citizen can do - like go to the city university/community college, apply for grants/loans from the city, etc
