The natural features of the animals+chimera make them stronger than their human fodder counterparts,
the officer ants are much stronger than your average human but a skilled hunter can take them.
It's the royal guard who are the real threat. And once the king shows up he makes the royal guard look like fodder.

Well those last two fights were completely pointless.
Some of them have near Ant strength Relative to their Body, the others have strength, defense, and traits according to whatever animal they are +minor Ant strength.
They are all also capable of using Nen very easily because they are "animals" that are in tune with their strength though instinct(that's at least my excuse for them all being so skilled).
Killua has extensive techniques to use since he's been training as an assassin since he was a toddler.
