ITT: Bad-Asses

Post only themost bad-ass MOFOs in Sup Forums material. Let's revel in the edge for a bit. And hey, MK's unironically a good character.

Magneto did nothing wrong.

This page is dumb.

Why?

The entire foundation of the Cyclops fanbase is built on the back of badass moments

Or maybe it's just because Sup Forums has been starved for a villain with actual menace and charisma.

It's "justice porn". Magneto is not a good dude, he would definitely fuck up Red Skull but he would do it in a way that emphasizes his superiority. With magnetism and torture and shit.

Magneto is meant to be a hypocrite, he has master race ideals despite being a holocaust victim. He shouldn't be a proxy for everyone who doesn't like Nazis, because he's a borderline Nazi himself. He just doesn't work as an anti-hero in this context.

bad-ass has became a buzzword ages ago. I like moon knight but he has very few good stories and stories in general. He would work better as an off brand tv show.
Did Magneto never get over his jew roots? The whole "tragedy" off his character was that he had become what he hated. also since when does red skull hate mutants?

True, Japan gets those all the time, that's actually EVERY Jojo big bad. Last western example I could think of was The Litch from AT.

>t. butthurt Red Skull shill
He did the right thing. Nazis and Nazi sympathizers deserve a good knuckle sandwich.

its pointless to argue with a brainless fool like you. I hope only a troll would miss the point so much but I have seen enough to know better

You gotta admit that the quality of the art is phenomenal. Have you seen the contrast around Magneto's gloves so they don't blend into the clothing?

...

on which page?
here it looks like he has a force filed on his fist.
here its just blue outline, jagged and sloppy around the fingers. in both he has a look of plastic figure were metal melds with fabric.
yes the art is serviceable but the thread is not about art

>Magneto is not a good dude, he would definitely fuck up Red Skull but he would do it in a way that emphasizes his superiority
Doubt it, he hires Wolverine to cleanly kill a literal nazi with no pomp and show in Uncanny X-Force

I agree with fiction nazis. But the real nazis were probably good guys.

There are no good guys. real nazis had a stick up their ass and under their rule we would be purged or forced to live in a world were we would have to buy comics in some shady ally

>Just fists
>Crushes his head with a stack of bricks

...

>I like moon knight but he has very few good stories and stories in general.

That is objectively untrue. He has more good runs than bad ones. And he's one of the only characters right now not tainted by NuMarvel bullshit.

>He would work better as an off brand tv show.

God no. That kind of edge does not translate well to tv. Unless Bryan Fuller directs, maybe.

Needing that reading order.

...

>Punch a nazi meme
>Not really punching Nazis
>just punching your fellow citizens who disagree with you in order to make yourself feel morally superior.

Fascists who think they're not fascists are complete brainlets.

...

he's really sanctimonious and self-righteous though so i'm not surprised he's poise himself as a dispenser of justice as he saw fit despite being a monster himself. That's kind of his whole thing. The 'fists only' thing is a superiority thing

...

...

Much obliged.

...

I hope to see more of him in the future. He should rekindle with his brother.

...read SEVERAL books.

That bottom panel reminds me of Barracuda's "I'll beat you to death with my balls!" stance.

Well fuck I know what I'm reading.

...

Only comics about gays, honestly.

Didn't he try this before?

Jesus.
I'm only 13 pages in issue 1 of the '87 run and I doubt I've seen anybody give fewer fucks than Victor.

...

I love how emojis can be used as filenames but question marks are still too much to handle.

Scrooge McDuck is one of the most badass characters ever written and this is not even disputable.

Cigar smokin
Whiskey and beer chugging
Motorcycle riding
Cowboy hat wearin
Slut porkin
Gut slicin
Ultimate bad ass
Wolverine is your god

so there was this one time that sabertooth (or a clone of him) decided to go in to outer space and kidnap someone (I think it was beast's girlfriend at the time. i can't remember her name). in any case, sabertooth had clawed beast's abdomen and either disemboweled beast or nearly disemboweled him. beast decides to leap from the satellite base in to outer space to attack sabertooth and save the hostage. iirc he was not wearing a helmet

If you ever get a chance to read the Cable run of Bishop chasing Cable through time... i highly recommend it. I enjoyed it, even the end.

he should guest star in more x-men stories

I love that page.

...

John cena should have played cable in deadpool 2. It would be a perfect fit

I liked the Destroyer mini series.

>MAX Tacticool Old Soldier redesign
>he still kept the mask

Based.

You're overreaching. punching fascists was a trope way before antifa ruined it. stop looking for demons and maybe you will stop seeing them

also: checked

wtf is this?

t. cartoon fag in a comic thread.

A photoshop.

...

I liked MOrrison'S take of the bonavide badass.

>not really punching Nazis
>literally wearing a Nazi armband

Keep sucking white nationalist cock, maybe then they’ll get rid of the leftist boogeyman you’re so afraid of.

Azrael

>And he's one of the only characters right now not tainted by NuMarvel bullshit.
The current run is really garbage, and filled with the usual "I read about this character on wikipedia so that means i get them" style writing that plagues Marvel nowadays.

I like Bemis run, its more cheekly written than the preciding runs but's not bad. Moon Knight is a character that can be differently written without the character's story taking any damage (except Bendis run)

It was peak kirkman

Ares is best.

I mostly read the Shadow via the Sup Forums storytimes but I noticed is that the fans seem to prefer when comics downplay the psychic stuff and instead focus on his skills and cunning.
Like this panel from Death of Margo Lane.
Any other comics where this kind of stuff happens?

My negro.

Yes

Say what you will about Stark, but he can be pretty bad-ass when the kid gloves are off.

Badass Morrison Frankenstein deserves more love.

Best jew.

Unfortunately most Shadow comics play up the hypno stuff, it's really only in the pulps where he seems the most grounded and cunning. Personally I like either way, powers or no powers.
He's super underrated

I haven't started on the current run yet, but I fully agree with >Moon Knight is a character that can be differently written without the character's story taking any damage (except Bendis run)

So I'll give it a chance. Plus MK just came off a great run, so what is the current one is less stellar. I'm sure it will bounce back.

Much better. Xmen are such shit.

Marc's definitely /ourjew/.

It's unironically good though. It's like a pulpy, exploitation, low-budget horror flick that is actually enjoyable. It's not high brow, but it's fucking fun.

...

Why do idiots like you try to pass their opinions as legitimate while not reading comics at all? Magneto has been a hero for more than a decade.

That all white-suit Moon Knight is just a rip off of Mr A.

Given his deadpan demeanour, general stoic perseverance, being a heroic version of a classic monster, working for a government organisation alongside other supernaturally powered people and the kind of things he deals with, I cant help but think Frank was Morrison's attempt at creating a DC Hellboy analogue.

Zatanna's dad.

>Not a single Fury post
I'm disappointed fellas.

Forgive me.

Oh my God you actually believed that obvious plant was a real Nazi? Holy shit you guys are guillible

Bump

Michael Kaluta's comics are a little sparse on the plotting side but he likes to often have The Shadow use his natural skills to create experiments and set up the defeat of the villains, much like the pulp version but not as clever, but then again, in that department, no one is really going to top the version that was written by an actual pro magician with insider knowledge on spycraft and Houdini's secrets.
But it's fun to watch sequences where The Shadow silently gathers clues and sets up traps like the chessmaster he's supposed to be.

...

Unless you're a jew, or a gypsy, or a political rival, or a good Christian.

It's possible. But I hope someday Blue Devil gets that title. What I really want is a S.H.A.D.E. comic starring Shade, Frank and BD.
