Good. Let's see what's under the ice in Antarctica
>climate change is man made
Thank god for Neanderthals and their SUVs.
Winter is nice, but I like the other seasons as well.
>Thank god for Neanderthals and their SUVs.
Neanderthals don't have SUVs
i prefer to say Assisted Climate Change
it was always going to change, we're just helping
>Neanderthals don't have SUVs
Of course not, silly goose!
Neanderthals are extinct. Poor victims of the evil Climate Change they caused.
fuck nature! we are winning!
Somehow we made the sun hotter.
That's the problem though. If it were to be changing as it naturally does we might have time to adapt to the changes. Assisting it is exactly what we don't want to do.
They didn't cause that climate change that was natural
I'd say it's climate progress because it's progressing.
bad photoshop
No we prevented the escape of heat provided by the sun from the earth via the greenhouse effect
APOLOGISE

MELT THE ICE, BEAR WAR NOW
t.Steven Crowder
Nobody knows if Polar Bear populations are changing
Sorry, current climate change is man made past climate change is natural
proofs
Nope.
CO2 concentration has to affect climate. We know this as past warming events caused by orbital variations would not have seen the kind of temperatures they did if the earth was warming due to the orbital variation alone. During these times we see a characteristic feedback loop of increasing temperature and increasing CO2 concentration. This suggests that the warming during these periods was largely due to CO2 and other greenhouse gases.
Thus it follows that if we were to now in the present day to increase atmospheric CO2 concentration temperature would increase.
This paper confirms:
atmos.washington.edu
>current climate change is man made past climate change is natural
So your position is that the climate has changed naturally and repeatedly for the last 4+ Billion years, up to and including the current warming that has occurred for the past 13,000 years since the Earth went into another interstadial period, but the last 200 years wouldn't have changed without those meddling humans and their dog.
Humans have created conditions that may cause more hurricanes, or less.
Industrialization may cause the world to plummet into a new ice age by 2000 OR may cause rivers to dry up and send Americans flooding into Mexico to seek relief.
Warmer summers? Climate Change™.
Colder winters? Climate Change™.
Less snow? Climate Change™.
More snow? Climate Change™.
Is there anything Climate Change™ isn't capable of?
trump will deport the heat
Believing in global war- I mean climate change is the ultimate blue pill.

Good luck user.
So we have to put up with pollution and shit whilst that polar bear gets a kickass ice raft?
Life isn't fair
>muh global warming
>radio reports that scientists have confirmed Global Cooling is Confirmed
>Earth keeps doing whatever the fuck it wants despite what humans do
It works like this-
Yes, global temperature shifts, but this happens very, very slowly. By dumping carbon dioxide and other chemicals into the air we are accelerating this process by a ridiculous fucking amount.
>Use actual data to prove Climate Change is real
A FUCKING LEAF.
>1.65 million years
Modern humans have been around for 20 000, I'd like to see how civilisation would fare in times prior to then
>2.Well if you look back far enough it doesn't look that bad
Yeah sure looking at the entire history of the earths warming makes the current period look trivial in its change of climate but we haven't been around that long. Yes its not as dramatic as many past changes but certainly temperature is increasing at a rate at which we may not adapt to
>3.Sea level rise
Again same fallacy as before. You can't look at several thousand years of data and then focus in on the most recent changes and call them trivial. Looking at any short term analysis will show you sea levels rising at a greater rate than typical. static.skepticalscience.com
>4.CO2 predicts global temperature
This is so incorrect on so many levels
No CO2 behaves the same in every environment
It is not a hypothesis it is established fact
Models have for the most part been correct (pic related debunks yours and shows correct projections)which is fairly impressive considering how short term the projections are
>theory

You can't read, can you?
>we are accelerating this process by a ridiculous fucking amount
A remark from Maurice Strong, who organized the first U.N. Earth Climate Summit (1992) in Rio de Janeiro revealed the real goal: “We may get to the point where the only way of saving the world will be for industrialized civilization to collapse.”
Former U.S. Senator Timothy Wirth (D-CO), addressing the same Rio Climate Summit audience, agreed: “We have got to ride the global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic policy and environmental policy.” (Wirth heads the U.N. Foundation which lobbies for hundreds of billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars to help underdeveloped countries fight climate change.)
Also speaking at the Rio conference, Deputy Assistant of State Richard Benedick said: “A global warming treaty [Kyoto] must be implemented even if there is no scientific evidence to back the [enhanced] greenhouse effect.”
In 1988, a former Canadian Minister of the Environment told editors and reporters of the Calgary Herald: “No matter if the science of global warming is all phony…climate change [provides] the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world.”
In 1996, former Soviet Union President Mikhail Gorbachev emphasized the importance of using climate alarmism to advance socialist Marxist objectives: “The threat of environmental crisis will be the international disaster key to unlock the New World Order.”
Speaking at the 2000 U.N. Conference on Climate Change in the Hague, former President Jacques Chirac of France said: “For the first time, humanity is instituting a genuine instrument of global governance, one that should find a place within the World Environmental Organization which France and the European Union would like to see established.”

The climate was harsher when humanity evolved than it was millions of years ago.
The data clearly shows that temperature is -not- increasing at an alarming rate.
The data shows that humans have had zero impact on sea level, as evidenced by no deviation from the trend since the emergence from the last glacial period.
You are a completely illiterate fucktard and should kill yourself immediately.

>So your position is that the climate has changed naturally and repeatedly for the last 4+ Billion years, up to and including the current warming that has occurred for the past 13,000 years since the Earth went into another interstadial period,
Yes but none of that warming wouldn't have been possible without CO2
see We account for the sun in temperature graphs
lmfao. How about you show a graph that actually does show the most recent warming
Paper I linked for proofs
Neat. Have any arguments you'd like to present?
fuck off
Polar bears are on the rise btw, and thats a photoshop
aren't the emissions from china, india, and brazil inevitably gonna increase over the next ~100 years or so? i mean america has done a pretty good job over the past 25 years of cutting down emissions etc. but it won't matter too much if developing countries end up reneging on climate change agreements or whatever as they reach a higher level of development/modernization and, unless some major breakthrough in clean energy happens, their emissions are gonna go way up as quality of life in those countries improve
You realise the image is sourced right? He didn't just make the shit up and the critiques of the graph are legitimate
You can't fucking see it because it gives you the data over thousands or millions of years. The entirety of that infograph relies on the fact we can't see with greater resolution. Of course we're not going to cause the kind of warming immediately that previously caused mass extinctions there's no way that would ever be possible to achieve in a 200 year long time frame.
China is currently investing in renewable energy at twice the rate of the US

>SAUCE
Sauce is on the graph, you illiterate fucking monkey.
>B-B-B-UT what about the last 20 years????!?!??
First, the past 20 years are mostly irrelevant on a scale of BILLIONS of years.
Secondly, go read about the terrifying Climate Change Pause of the past 17 years.

You utter moron, the second graph shows the most recent temperature measurements. Go huff some petrol you god damned illiterate abo.
>China is currently investing in renewable energy at twice the rate of the US
twice the rate but they have four times the population of the US so idk how that all works out
have you ever even seen a polar bear in RL?
>Daily reminder that the polar bear population is larger than it's been in many decades.
This is why people think Australians are retarded.
Also inb4 "A FOOKIN LEAF, lol look at me I can't make valid points so I'll just retort with a meme as outdated as "One does not simply _____""
>Look closely at the graph I posted.Like, really really closeSee the red at the end? That's the 'modern' warming trend.
No your data's incorrect our current period is warmer than the warm period. I can't find any paper with that data you have whereas the IPCC data I previously posted showing recent warming is verifiable.
Yes but the sea level one doesn't, and it shows in no where near enough resolution to see the current warming in the temperature graph
see That is the past 2000 years of warming, there is a clear spike in the recent years after several hundred cooler years
>He didn't just make the shit up and the critiques of the graph are legitimate
My graph is legitimate as well.
Plus, I didn't need to make up shit about a self-employeed cartoonist and web programmer being a great scientist to present my point.
To clarify, what is "sea levels rising at a greater rate than typical"?
For just how many interstadials do we have accurate, recorded, year-by-year data to compare to the current one? And even if we did, why do you believe that all interstadials are exactly the same?
EXACTLY how much should sea levels be rising per year at this point?
Did you consider isostatic rebound when writing your answer?
>Not believing in Climate Change is raciss!!!
That's what I thought.
Its bait to say climate change is man made
>My graph is legitimate as well.
The gif gives several reasons why its not, go back and watch it
>Plus, I didn't need to make up shit about a self-employeed cartoonist and web programmer being a great scientist to present my point.
Wasn't produced by him
>To clarify, what is "sea levels rising at a greater rate than typical"?
They had previously been rising at a given rate and are currently rising at a rate greater than that
>For just how many interstadials do we have accurate, recorded, year-by-year data to compare to the current one?
Couldn't tell you the exact number desu
>And even if we did, why do you believe that all interstadials are exactly the same?
No but why would they need to be and of what relevance is this
>EXACTLY how much should sea levels be rising per year at this point?
3.2 mm per year
>Did you consider isostatic rebound when writing your answer?
desu not sure if your talking sea levels or temperature at this point
Fuck polar bears, literally have to kill 3 or so a year because they come into town and attack people
The data in the sea level graph includes measurement taken as recently as 2003, and all of the measurements clearly fall well within the range of variation demonstrated over the past 8000 years.
There is zero evidence that humans are having any impact on sea level.

A Kiwi and an Aussie went fishing one afternoon and decided to have a couple of cold beers.
After a while the Aussie says to the Kiwi, "If I was to sneak over to your house and make wild passionate love to your wife while you were at work, and she got pregnant and had a baby, would that make us related?"
After a great deal of thought, the Kiwi says, "Well, I don't know about related, but it sure would make us even."
tell that to volcanoes and forest fires
What is wrong with this graph here then? Why is it that we begin to see sharp sea level rise once we take a closer look? Mate is just misleading to start posting graphs with an y-axis tens of thousands of years long and an x-axis measuring tens of meters when we're talking about events in the past 200 years with only centimetres difference. It tells you nothing about the trends we currently see.
...

The thing that people don't realize is that it's not just the ice caps melting that could be a problem. It's that rising ocean temperatures causes the water molecules to expand. We'll have the same amount of water, but it will be taking up a larger amount of space.

Or, the Minoan Warm Period?
Or, the Holocene Climactic Optimum?

>M-MUH Carbon Credits
And why, EXACTLY, do you believe that giving money to a church will correct our path?
>Smarter people than me done said that if I gives them money, they'll fix it!
Buying Indulgences is such a 13th century fallacy, user.
It's misleading for the same reason that the Marcott data set is misleading; it appends modern, high resolution measurements (with greater variation) to data sets smoothed over hundreds of years. When you then truncate the data to an insignificant period of time, this gives the false impression that the more recent measurements are "spiking." In reality, the recent measurements are not outside of the variation that has been very, very consistently demonstrated over a long period of time. Go back to the sea level graph I posted earlier and look at the variation from 8kya to present. Modern measurements fall well within that range.
This kind of misleading and dishonest representation of data is done -constantly- in climate science, which is why you have to check behind every one of these shysters. And it's very alarming that when you dig more deeply into an alarming-looking dataset that you -always- find some form of manipulation, obfuscation, or improper truncation.
Were the last ice ages man made as well?
people denying climate change should be killed for the benefit of humanity. All of them except Trump.
jews arent men
Reminder that there's nothing we can do about it unless we all want to live like North Koreans.
>Were the last ice ages man made as well?
Nah.
SillyAnon Believes™ that all other 4 billion plus years of warming and cooling were natural.
Humans caused the results of the last 150 years, though.
Without a single doubt.
Daily reminder that polar bears are vicious man eaters who survive primarily by eating baby seals and their own cubs. You've been brainwashed to think they are so great by the media Jew. They are only cute or snugly when they're little, when they grow up they're one of the most voracious murder machines on earth.
The melt of the arctic sea ice will bring about a new economic era for the far north and the slight increase in global temperature will unlock millions of square miles of arable land that we will need to feed an ever growing population. The that of Siberia will give Russia access the vast economic resources that it will use to finally lift itself out of its despotic dark ages.
Stop squealing in terror about the changing climate like a panicked hog, this is not the end of the world, it is merely change, and that change will be the beginning of a new, hopefully more bountiful world.
The concepts of sustainability and zero Impact will keep this planet habitable for a little longer, but eventually we will outgrow it one way or another, and those very same policies that keep the earth for a few more decades or centuries will be the policies that keep us from leaving our planetary cradle and finding new homes.
leaf education.

What is this meme that climate change is a religion?
>When you then truncate the data to an insignificant period of time, this gives the false impression that the more recent measurements are "spiking."
No, it doesn't, my graph shows 1000 years of stable sea levels before a spike in sea levels, thats hardly a coincidence.
>Go back to the sea level graph I posted earlier and look at the variation from 8kya to present. Modern measurements fall well within that range.
Mate I already went over why your graph is misleading. There's no way whatsoever when there's only been centimetres of change that you would ever pick up that change on a graph using units of 10 meters, it would almost be blocked out by the trend line.
Its due to CO2, humans influence CO2. This shit is like saying
>Although all past holes have been produced by weather effects humans couldn't possibly create a hole
>Daily reminder that polar bears are vicious man eaters who survive primarily by eating baby seals and their own cubs.
Polar bears in zoos have their apples frozen in the ice so they have to work to get them.
It makes them happier than just handing them the apples.
Take that as a metaphor for women, or don't.
But, never claim that I didn't offer you the keys to the universe.
>No, it doesn't, my graph shows 1000 years of stable sea levels before a spike in sea levels, thats hardly a coincidence
Your graph shows proxy data that with a moving average window so high that it smooths out the variation demonstrated in other data sets. For example, sea level changes of over a meter in a period of decades have been recorded in multiple datasets from the past several thousand years, which are sourced in the graph I posted originally.
You're either a petrol-huffing abo or an invincibly ignorant climate cultist.
>Couldn't tell you desu, why is this relevant to man made global warming?
>I'm an idiot, and for us to have a fair fight, you have to be an idiot as well.

January 2000 Dr. Michael Oppenheimer of the Environmental Defense Fund (in a NY Times interview) on mild winters in New York: “But it does not take a scientist to size up the effects of snowless winters on children too young to remember the record-setting blizzards of 1996. For them, the pleasures of sledding and snowball fights are as out-of-date as hoop-rolling, and the delight of a snow day off from school is unknown.”
Michael Oppenheimer, 1990: “By 1995, the greenhouse effect will be desolating the heartlands of North America and Eurasia with horrific drought, causing crop failures and food riots…”(By 1996) The Platte River of Nebraska will be dry, while a continent-wide black blizzard of prairie topsoil will stop traffic on interstates, strip paint from houses and shut down computers…The Mexican police will round up illegal American migrants surging into Mexico.”
Within a few years winter snowfall will become a very rare and exciting event. … Children just aren’t going to know what snow is.”

>some animals were retarded enough to go live on antarctica so that means we should halt all human progress
Global warming dindu niffin.
Do you want to justify why you think we should be able to see centimetres of rapid change on a y-axis with units of 10 meters.
What exact relevance are the variations? The current sea level change we are experiencing is clearly more than a random variation in sea level.
>sea level changes of over a meter in a period of decades have been recorded in multiple datasets from the past several thousand years, which are sourced in the graph I posted originally.
Yes but why are we using thousand year time frames and why are we using meter long measurements? None of this is useful for examining the sudden recent smaller changes that would be characteristic of sudden changes in temperature and not natural processes.
Reply to me and next time instead of typing random shit out about how climate change is a religion disprove the established historical link between CO2 and temperature
Climate change: it's unbearable. [Made a meme for you]
Can't people just stop shitposting and just agree that climate change is natural but man-made C02 and whatnot helps speed things up which can create potential risks in the future; though said risks may not matter depending on technological advancements and whatnot?
Either way, the process to help reduce C02 emissions is hardly something that's bad either way. That's not to say jews and politicians aren't trying to use Climate change as an excuse to gain money and power. Remember ethanol? Got pushed as being a "good, clean" alternative but did the politicians mention that the factories producing the stuff pushed out tons of toxic gas or that corporations stole land from South American farmers just to create large farms solely for the purpose of growing the plants needed to make ethanol?
Also, friendly reminder that Climate change is not "Oh, it's warmer than last year" but the average temperature of the whole globe steadily rising. It's a slow process, it's predicted to raise a 1-3 celcius I think next decade. But that's assuming technological advancement wont lead to more environmental friendly fuels and whatnot.
Modern Humans have been around for like 100k years at least.
