We have good quality prefab houses here too but that's not what we're talking about. This thread's about mobile homes which are extremely shit manufactured housing that is supposedly able to move in order to skirt the building codes. There are huge lots jam packed with hundreds to thousands of the fucking things in poor areas in the US, they're a real blight.

A trailer is not a bad start for home ownership. They're also cheap to renovate if you want get one out some slum lord park on the cheap. Save money then you can be the jew and rent it out to help pay for a better place. Get past the stigma, it's not a big deal if you're young.

In SoCal you can get one for $100k but you have to pay for the lot, which sucks
