I think they're taking way too long to get to whatever points they're trying to make. The plot is moving at dragon ball z yelling and charging tier filler with the same plot points basically on repeat episode after episode with barest amount of progression.

They did it all much better in the previous two seasons.

Been downhill since around season 9-10. Went from episodes where the only joke was the idea of the plot, to the only joke in the season being the idea of the plot.

The Danish singing and constant member berries lines got old by their second appearances.

The last episode that was actually funny was 2 or 3 seasons ago.
I'm basically forcing myself to watch the episodes to the end each week hoping it will amount to something slightly humorous in the end but I really doubt it.

The whole season was clearly focused on Shillary winning, when Trump won, they clearly freaked out and pulled the first shit they could make to justify the rest of the season, the memberries vomit is the obvious result to cover the huge plot hole we are going to have.

The current format ignores all principals of storytelling. Its a jumbled mass of shit.

They could have the exact same scenes, but if they organized them into a story structure it would be watchable.

Each arc needs to be 2-3 episodes maximum. Instead we have 4 arcs spanning all 7 episodes.

Season 19 all have 3 act story structure within every episode.

Season 20 has no story structure, events just advance.

I still like South Park but they screwed up the balance. They went too heavy on politics and actualities, they have almost always had actualities in them but something is missing.

The member berries are actually kind of lame, although season 19 was probably the weakest in a long time. The thing with the Danish feels retarded (who gives a fuck about the danes?). Oh well. I still enjoy the show and it's been surprisingly strong considering their time on air.

The thing is i found it kinda weird that people said they stumbled with them thinking Hilary would win. Their Episodes take a week to make plus they did that episode which depending on who got elected they'd air a certain version. I find it weird they got caught off guard with this when they've been able to roll with it before.
