It's one of a handful of actually good cartoons. The rest is mostly shit. The creator put a lot of effort into making the characters and that's what's great about the show. It's mostly nice and comfy character interaction. No big explosions, no big nemesis, just everyday social problems and actual character progression. I honestly don't want to get too far into it, these discussions have been held over and over again, but just like other bigger fandoms people are fan of this thing for a reason.
