Gonna see a lot less Britposters

>Britain has passed the 'most extreme surveillance law ever passed in a democracy'
>The law forces UK internet providers to store browsing histories -- including domains visited -- for one year, in case of police investigations.

You're like South Korea tier now.

RIP Nigel

How is the NSA any worse? Don't they record search history and store IP addresses as well?

What's the difference?

The difference is some speech in the UK is illegal.

More like V For vendetta tier

pretty sure that data isn't available to local police to conduct investigations with.

They likely did this already illegally and they just passed a law to make it legal.

Yes, but the US government has the power to seize computers which have been used to threaten over the internet. It's a blurry line between the concept of free speech and threats.

Is it one year from now on?
When will it take effect?

>in real time
>not only that

don't worry

>journalists and medical people are protected more

You faggots don't even know what they did in Russia. Store history & messages for 3 year, store ALL TRAFFIC BYTES FOR 1 YEAR. And this is a real law signed by Putin. "This is for public safety, to combat terrorism!" they say.

What is the best tactic to avoid having your browsing history leaking to your ISP? Is a VPN enough or do you need to do some kind of dns trickery? Please help, I'm an online racist but i'm bad with computer.

well you see, when even the london mayor is a muslim, they really do need that much security.

This, pls help

Good.

>2016
>not being good with the cyber

not going anywhere

death to america freedom for britain

You just have to be all racist now, then the law is worthless.

I just want to surf the web free of worries, I don't need the government watching me

Is encryption also banned in Russia? Because Cameron wants to ban it.

that is exactly why the law was passed, because the law now also states that no organisation that uses these powers can be prosecuted for using them before the law was passed

Use Tor browser.
Also if it just stores browsing history you can still be racist on Sup Forums; it only stores that you went to Sup Forums, not that you posted "Gas the kikes race war now".
In a way the BLACKEDposters and CTR are doing us a service, as now you can claim you weren't here to support the ethnostate, you were here to fap to niggershlongs while shilling for Hill. They'll give you a fucking medal.

You understand how Tor works? Your IP can be used by somebody else to do whatever, while you get random IP of somebody else. That's not preventing your IP visiting bad things or doing bad things.

Only If directed at someone irl though I think. Fuck Europe.

>Your IP can be used by somebody else to do whatever, while you get random IP of somebody else
Isn't that only if you set up a node or whatever? If you just use the Tor browser other people don't get to use your IP do they???

Your IP is used by other people. Tor is good for hiding your real IP from sites, but not to hide your IP from government. Since chances are those that use your IP will do even bigger illegal things.

im even using fucking google, who cares about what you say/see... unless you are obviously a criminal

Just usw proxys

What is advertising and injections of spaming and flooding your IP? The biggest threats of today isn't viruses, but shit that targets your PC to slow it down. You could be visiting sites that have bomb recipes without knowing it, when they need a taliban to blame you will be there.

So for the duration of the time I have the Tor browser open, somebody else is using my IP?

correct. But they can see you connecting to the tor node. Also tor has known flaws and can be traced if nodes are compromised.

How do you think the system works? We help each other out. You use somebody's IP, they use your IP.

All our governments are doing this, ours had just legitimised it

This is wrong.

That's fucked up man, what can we do to help?

I mostly lurk and when I post I don't post anything that could be considered to "offensive". Being on pol is not something I could get in trouble for so unless they are interested in my porn habits which are as well fine then I should be okay. i do support net neutrality and privacy though so this is shit

Which means you can be charged, while governments who do it illegally can't charge you, only abduct you if you are some extreme terrorists. This is just the next step to write online tickets, to milk more cash.

Well I had better not get arrested ;_;
