How true is this?
Creationism vs Evolution
You don't see the same folks getting giddy over fluoridation or climate change. Their interest is rather narrow.
Not at all. The only faithful individuals who refuse science are those who cannot understand it, likewise the only scientists who refuse faith are those who refuse to comprehend it.
Faith is the study of why. Science is the study of how. They are in no way contradictory.
the world was created by Kek (pbuh)
I went to Catholic school my whole life. We were taught both and I think you can accept both. God was the force that started the creation of the universe, which took billions of years. I never thought it had to be one or the other like so many do.
Catholics have no problem with evolution... it's the degenerate Protestants that cry about it.
Catholic Church = 2,000 years old. Same beliefs the whole time. Evolution is not a problem for us.
Protestants = >500 years old... 44,000 different beliefs. And, they believe the earth is only 6,000 years old.
The folks that go to court either have literal interpretations or find the concept of evolution uuagreeable.
Faith is not a study of anything. It's literally accepting something on pure faith. There are no good philosophical arguments why God exists, you either accept that you can't know and believe anyway, or go home.
This. It's not an either-or kind of thing. Only idiots take the Old Testament literally.
Well I think the point of contention wth many religious (Protestants mainly) is that schools teach evolution as an absolute fact, when in reality it as a theory, still has many holds.
I think there would be less opposition if schools taught "this is the most current science we have on origins; however, there are other beliefs that are based on religious views that we will not discuss here, so ask your parents..."
But, "enlightened" liberals take it upon themselves to force on kids their ideologies.
Then why does anything exist at all?
If you wish to tell me that the universe has no creator, then please explain why it exists.
Evolution does NOT contradict creationism
Catholic school here too, I was taught the same way
The whole evolution debate is pointless. Of all the ways you can approach the God debate, this is the most pointless one. The atheist can't prove God doesn't exist using evolution and the theist has no reason to feel threatened by evolution.
I don't know why anything exists, and to say that your proposed answer must be true because I have no explanation is called argument from ignorance.
Everyone who doesn't believe in Darwinism is a nigger lover.
If you're a American Evangelical Protestant it does.
The degeneracy of Protestantism has done more damage to Christianity than anything else.
Oh no it isnt bad science at all. Soft tissue found in dinosaur bones supposedly millions of years old, dating methods that hold unscientific assumptions, etc.. Its the other way around. Atheists are forced to accept evolutionism because its the only game in town no matter how failed it is. To call it a theory and put it on the same level as atmoic or cell theory is ridiculous. It is wishful thinking, speculation, and superstition made plausible because of something that cant be comprehended - millions of years.
She lies about peer reviewed article at the smithsonian in this interview.
May the light of kek shine upon her.

So you believe dinosaurs walked the earth with humans?
In science, theories are facts. In order to be considered a theory, massive amounts of evidence, testing, and research from all over the world are required until a proposition can be seen as fact. For example, combustion, gravity, and plate tectonics are all theories.
How are you going to survive when the refugees hit without a central government to organize an army and provide a chain of command?
Actually no, that's not how science works,
You start with a hypothesis then design experiments to disprove said hypothesis.
After enough testing and failing to disprove your hypothesis it then can become a theory. A theory; however, CAN disproved. Say by technology that hasn't been developed yet.
Once a theory has been confirmed through an exhaustive application of experimentation (and other means), it becomes a Law (the law of gravity, for example.
I'm Catholic, but I have no problem with evolution. My education is in Biology and I've studied it enough to suspect the science behind it is sound. But, it's not at the stage to be declared a "law" just yet.
Science=Belief in authority for most.
They told me it was science so if you don't believe their bullshit you don't believe in science.
Where are the systematic observations, measurements, and experiments in evolution?
Evolution is a religion.
You ever heard of MRSA?
That IS evolution in the proverbial flesh.
A strain of staphylococcus that was once susceptible to antibiotics undergoes a genetic mutation that creates a new physical ability to resist those same antibiotics. That's evolution.
Now if you want to debate whether the mutation was a product of divine intervention or solely random is another story.
MRSA isn't the only example of modern day evolutionary evidence.
How come religion is used almost as an insult?
It's as though opponents of evolution are trying to bring it down to their level.
>the wages of sin is death
>death existed billions of years before sin
How compatible.
How are you going to survive when the refugees hit without a central government to organize an army and provide a chain of command?
The free fleet of Greece kicked Statist Persian ass at the battle of Salamis. They hade a rotating command But most commanders deferred to Themistocles. Just one example from history.
Ugh I wasn't going to comment but I can't resist this shit.
That isn't evolution by developing new beneficial information through mutation. That's like saying a dog breed with all lengths of hair that moves to Alaska and subsequently the short hair variety dies out had evolved long hair. No it didn't, it was there the whole time. Same shit.
only idiots take religion seriously. The words of god were altered by human imperfection.
I have an Idea. I'll write a program that randomly mutates computer programs. Just like evolutionary mutation. Think of all the new function we can add. kek
All mutation leads to a loss of function. To add function requires information.
Ae you fucking high? That is EXACTLY what evolution is.
How do you think organisms change if not through genetic mutation?
I'm betting money you're an evangelical aren't you? You can say it, unless you're ashamed.
ok. Evolution is different than the one in pokemon user.
Redpill on evolution.
Wait what? kek
Oh and by the way...
Your dog analogy is wrong. There is a disproven theory on biology where that very same concept was put forth - but rejected. Trying to use a disproven theory to disqualify evolution through genetic mutation is sad and shows your complete lack of scientific knowledge.
Fuck, I can't remember the name I that theory.
Depends on what type of death it's talking about. Sin separated man from God, that's spiritual death.
I don't know what's more disturbing the fact you could get it up and nut on a dead bird, or your failed attempt to be insulting,
It's actually humorous I LOL'ed.
I'm the perfect example of evolution.
