I saw it last year, it's really cute and fun. The art direction and animation is insanely charming. Not GOAT, but something perfect for a cozy autumn/winter weekend. Like a charlie brown special. They rarely make stuff like it anymore.

Assuming you consider CGI "well-animated", you should watch Rudolf the Black Cat. It's about a kitten that gets lost and a tough alley cat takes him under his wing and teaches him how to read signs to find his way home. It's extremely cute and basically unheard of in the west sadly.
