King's Batman is pretty middling at best (the best stuff has been one shots) and while its not the worst ever, you'd not miss much if you skip it. Just read the Button, Brave and the Mold, and the Elmer Fudd one shot and you'll get all the important and good stuff. I expect King to break up Selina and Bruce by the end of his run.
People get pissy over the pet names and repetition. Janin art's is kind of lazy (Lee Weeks should be on Batman). Batman being a depressed guy is out of character for some reason. The Current Batman writer is the worst ever, the previous Batman writer is now " at least not as bad" the cycle goes on.
