Regretfully this. I really need better suggestions. And I wish Sup Forums would story time/post more webcomics than just QC, KSBD, Unsounded, BSCB, Guntring Court, and Dumbing of Age. I mean there has to be more regularly updating decently drawn webcomics out there among billions. What gives?

No, I consider them an extremely poor source of entertainment and nothing short of black holes in terms of creativity.
Webcomics are truly shit-tier when it comes to telling stories and providing any kind of enjoyment, and I'm honestly surprised daily by how much of Sup Forums's time is wasted on them.
Of course, it all comes down to the readers wanting to fuck the characters and hoping that if they follow the author, eventually they will get porn or at least cheesecake. It's incredibly dishonest and also fosters an industry that doesn't deserve to live, because it is built on lies.
The saddest part is that since tumblr webcomic "artists" for some truly mind-boggling reason are hired by publishing companies to head up actual comics being sold for money, there is barely any line between webcomics and comics. The end result is that both suck.
The only medium left is animation, where you can clearly see and experience the difference between shows that have no creative talent whatsoever behind them (such as Steven Universe Et al.) and those which do, and offer something more than pastel colored slice of life shit stolen at length from Sailor Moon.

Webcomics COULD be good, in that they give people who make otherwise unprintable (either due to niche content, or their lack of personal clout) a chance to present themselves on their own backs.
Unfortunately, the genres that generate the most buzz are usually trite, whether due to their genre (video game jokes or porn), or just due to the decisions made by the makers.

Ava's Demon is a story that was literally written by the artist when she was 13 with minimum changes but that artist was also a pixar intern for a while. In other words it's like if you took the oc stories made by depressed teenage girls of dA and tumblr, mixed it with a YA novel story, and had it illustrated by a professional artist whose first language is likely not English given it's stilted dialogue at times. And also waifufags flock to some of the main characters despite or because of how 1d they are, though fans and the author will tell you otherwise.
tdlr; Not to stop you from reading it, but it's mainly storytimed here for it's art and by waifufags. But if more simplistic 'oc donut steal' stories don't bother you that much you should probably give it a go.

if you know Sonichu. it's exactly that. In the sense that's a retelling of the Sonichu story only that, instead of going the usual dark parody route, this work proposes the same things that actually happen in the Sonichu comic, but the caracaters are given actual personalityes and the world actual wordbuilding, so that their actions feel natural and made with reason.
Also, the main character isn't Sonichu (or Chris) but Rosechu.
It's so good that Chris Chan itself considers it canon... and ENJOYS it!
