Voltron Legendary Defender: Stripper Lance Edition

What did they mean by this?

Is there anybody Lance isn't shipped with? I think Lance fans really want the show to be a harem where everybody fawns over grand destiny Altean Lance.

Attached: x71a.png (1280x1558, 824K)

I'm pretty sure that everyone in the show's shipped with everyone else in it
The fandom really likes throwing every possible relationship combo together
Hell, I'm willing to bet there's Hunk/Slav content if I look hard enough

That Lance is actually sexy and athletic.

Also really wanting to see how McCree met Krolia.

Attached: It was love at first sight.jpg (850x1200, 203K)

You're conflating. I don't ship him with everyone at the same time.

You know, the Garrison is pretty racist, blaming the Kerberos mission failure on a bad Asian driver.

Hunk and Slav might actually have really good chemistry. Hunk would balance out Slav's neurotic side with his more laid-back attitude but is still cautious enough himself to be empathic to his fears. Also, Slav is really good with technology.

They'd be a great ship.

Lance's mum was a stripper and took him with her to work often. He learned the ropes, which everyone decided was for the best considering his poor academic prospects.

Attached: dancedance.jpg (1280x5118, 833K)

it lacks the hot and cold, passionate spark of Shlav

Shallura is the fucking devil but this is cute anyways

Not all relationships can be fire and fury, user. Hunk and Slav have the sort of chemistry that can build a lasting relationship.

I don't think I've seen Lance/Narti yet.

I don't ship this but I have to admit that Lancelot is a cute ship name.

Attached: jelly.png (1000x1000, 617K)

Lance/Lotor/Allura is the best option for an endgame relationship

Attached: tumblr_p3hfq47f7C1rnvlg6o1_1280.png (1049x786, 550K)

I always wondered how he made it into the Garrison.

Allura should rape them both

Something about the idea of two statuesque elf people with some nobody scrap of a kid sandwiched between them is pretty appealing, I have to say.

There; now it exists for sure.

Attached: IMG_0559.jpg (4032x3024, 2.93M)

Is this the comfiest ship possible?

Quite possibly. Then again all Hunk ships are pretty comfy. I bet he could even make a relaxed, happy woman out of Haggar.

This entire pic is both cute and fun.

They thoroughly ruined my tags. One does not simply find some good old Arthurian porn on social media without poking through these fuckers.

Shallura is the best pairing... After Lotor/Hunk (Hotor? Lunk?)

Attached: Screen Shot 2017-08-21 at 11.45.06 PM.png (474x632, 409K)

No, no! Slav and Shiro: Because Shiro needs to learn to be less uptight and have fun; Slav needs discipline and someone to reign him in.

Hunk and Lotor (or Keith) because Hunk has a very calming, healing presence, he cooks, and he lovings and both of those men (Keith and Lotor) need that in their lives.

Attached: 1507956138378.jpg (850x1041, 128K)

Exactly.... and their love making would be amazing with all of those extra hands.

What's your favourite Arthurian pairing, user?

Cute.

Listen, I’m not proud of posting this but fuck it.
Is there any Plance this season?

Narti doesn't get shipped with anyone. Kind of hard to build a ship on ab character who's just "stand there" and "kill things."

So does Shiro get Keith?

Literally killed off too early. RIP Narti.

It would never work out.

Attached: 1489883912724.png (1280x1920, 838K)

I still don't get why Lotor didn't save himself a lot of trouble and just explained to the other generals, that Narti had been compromised, and that he had to kill her.

Attached: 1508181904199.png (1280x720, 673K)

Literally Lancelot/anyone. Lancelot/Guinevere/Arthur, Lancelot/Galahaut, Lancelot/his poor life choices. The latter is doubtless the better.

Attached: CrNymCPXYAI1U-r.png (745x1200, 1.19M)

Because he himself didn't seemed to think that Haggar turned her into a magical spy camera. Probably he thought that Narti literally betrayed him.

I've always been a sucker for the Lancelot/Guinevere/Arthur love triangle and all the versions of it in media through the years. I like to think there's a bit of it in DotU Lance/Allura/Keith.

>Keith
>Not Lotor

as a Slav by blood it makes me sad they created a character named Slav who seems to be the only person Shiro truly hates.

I can't even pretend my waifu would like me.

DotU Keith's personality reminds me of Arthur's.

But didn't he bring Narti to his father's headquarters, because he had absolute faith in her?
Haggar stayed by Zarkon's side, while he was verbally abusing his autistic son, so it's not like Haggar had time to sneak out and offer Narti a huge suitcase with "Galrabucks" printed in braille on its side.
That's more or less why I assumed he realized Narti had become a remote drone.

Attached: 1488493064087.png (913x913, 275K)

I am sure Shiro has been with persons with Slavic blood in them... You still have a chance, user.

I like Slav even if Shiro doesn't.

When I first heard Slav speak, I realized he could be the descendant of Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, if that entire lineage of Kwik-E-Mart proprietors had been standing too close to the squishy-machine for decades.

Attached: 1493249304057.png (300x270, 76K)

does this count?

Attached: tumblr_oub61fsWRi1u7svrgo2_1280.jpg (1280x677, 86K)

Am I the only one who doesn’t get the hype over Lance?

Yes.

Yes.

Attached: 1505228958782.png (772x930, 190K)

you are

Attached: omlette du fromage.png (252x165, 45K)

Then it's simply Lotor not thinking it through in this case.

Slav is actually adorable and funny. But alternate Slav is also insanely badass.

no sharkon, what is this garbage.

Apart from Lance getting away with having the most unacceptable eyebrows, he's alright.

They looked better in season 5.

Attached: outrageous.png (960x1080, 643K)

It was sort of a shitty situation all around when it happened.

Attached: squish.jpg (540x388, 64K)

>Lancelot/Guinevere/Arthur
They were my first baby ot3. Tender bromance with a pinch of treason and adultery.
Well, at least DotU Lance didn't destroy the Galaxy Alliance and didn't go mad, wandering the space wilderness for two years. He is a good boy.

No, you’re thinking of Keith. Keith is the fandom’s shipping bicycle.

Keith's ass is collective galactic property.

Attached: 1483173155371.png (699x802, 654K)

Where did he learn that?

Attached: 48A58BD2-73D9-4CC7-A7F9-C08C785DD208.png (1334x750, 1.17M)

Her spaceship fell on him. He offered to fix it. The rest is history.

Attached: siyah9628 - 01.jpg (855x1199, 106K)

I had to watch that video three times, before I noticed the (very obvious) "Shiro" interrupting Keith's train of thoughts twice.
I can definitely relate to his autism.

Attached: 1505422702317.png (600x665, 195K)

I can bear the brows but his high hairline is outrageous.
This thing creeps me out since Persona 4.

Attached: 67687y978.png (554x838, 209K)

More like Lance is. In fact Lance and Shiro have more solo porn as well than anybody else.

Keith is just there to sometimes ship either of them with.

Everyone’s waiting so see who’s going to win the Keithbowl.

Lance is some pseudo-self insert husbando that fujos supposedly relate to.

Meanwhile Shiro is your typical husbando.

But Lance is the one the whole fandom is ridiculously attached to. They only fight over Keith because they see Keith as Lance's. Just like they get mad when Lance doesn't have some super special origin.

No, it’s Lance that they care about. Keith is the stand-in.

IMO Lance is the fandom favorite, but he isn’t the shipping bicycle or the end-game “prize.” That’s Keith.

That's because they want Keith to belong to Lance and they're attached to that. Keith being with anyone else takes something away from Lance in their eyes.

>Lance being an overly flamboyant attention seeker
Seems about right. How deprived of attention was he back on earth to be this way?

Probably not much? He deeply loves and misses his family and he doesn't seem to have the "I had too big a family so I never got enough attention" thing going.

>fell on him
Love at first crash. As expected from a cowboy amazon chaser.

He wasn’t. Apparently the showrunners have admitted that Lance was spoiled rotten by his family or something along the lines of that. So technically he’s just a brat who constantly craves attention because he was coddled his whole life.

Though I wonder if the potential lack of a father figure has anything to do with it.

Or it's just that he's used to being surrounded by love and attention so he's not adjusting well to being without that and in a stressful situation to boot.

It’s probably a mix of both.

They mean "what you see is what you get". Mocking up fans and shippers probably, given the whole episode is laughing at how the shows are being created and what silly tropes they use to become popular.

Reminds me of Miyuki and Membrane.

>Allura playing the role of “Keith” during that coalition arc

What did they mean by this?

He needed to pay his Garrison debts and buy expensive skin care shit, and all these part time coffee shop jobs aren't the best way to make money right away.

They're both the official Mary Sues of the show

I thought it was more along the lines of being a meta comment on action cartoons generally sidelining female characters into irrelevant “token” girl tropes, but this works too.

Probably a parralel on the enforced presence of Shiro in the real written scenario? If a character is missed by fandom, it gotta be brought to the stage, because it sells toys.

Nice.

Not until we see why Keith is force sensitive.

Kek the entire fandom totally missed out on this massive spoiler

>read up on 1984 series in the wiki
>find out the show was actually two different series spliced together
>Keith was black lion from the start and basically had Shiro's introduction and Lance the hotheaded red lion pilot
>Shiro was two different characters edited as one and was the blue lion before an-heroing
This show sounds like a trainwreck, and with all the pandering to nostalgiafags I hear about I expected things to follow a lot more closely.
And why the fuck did their uniforms not match their lions?

More proof that this shit has been finished a long ass time ago. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re wrapping up the finale right now.

Nips actually liked Sven better than the cheap cop out of the “it’s my identical twin!”

Also it was for aesthetics. Red is always leader in those shows but because. Voltron would look bad with a red torso they changed it to black but the leader was still in red uniform.

Should i, /vld/?

Attached: 20180314_174910.jpg (4608x3456, 3.77M)

And why was Lance red?

Are you older than 14?

I’m gonna laugh my ass off when shippers complain about their ship losing because the show runners felt “pressured” to ignore it or appeal to another ship to appease/upset the fan base at the last minute.

As if all of this shit wasn’t planned and decided years ago.

Someone had to be the buddy. The dude dressed in Blue is always Leader Red’s homie G. The dude relegated to Black uniform is always known as the “black ranger” and it means something is going to happen to him or he’s the last one.

Also if they gave Isamu Blue, then that would put Fala in Red and red is a boy’s/leader color. This is Japanese sentai reasoning here.

Woooow

Hell Bex said this a long ass time ago when season 2 came out and was interviewed in AfterBuzz. I guess people really don’t want to believe them. I had a feeling the Shiro muh popular comment from the Voltron Show was something that had no backing because of this. Yet anons insisted “WELL YES HE IS POPULAR.”

WAAAAN

Attached: 92F9889D-F133-48CE-997F-C30E911BD655.jpg (992x740, 99K)

Pretty much. Didn’t some of the staff even admit that the Shiro “changes” occurred before the show even went into production?

Shiro is not even the most popular character.

I know he’s not, but when I questioned the validity of that statement for the executives to make since, at the time, it appeared to have been made before the actual show aired, folks here got mad that I was trying to put down Shiro’s popularity. I fucking wasn’t. I just wanted to know with what magic wand did execs use to falsely assume Shiro would be the most popular.

>Make colors based on team tropes
>But the mech looks ugly so swap red and black
>But now a girl ends up in red and red is leader's color
>but it isn't cause colors were swapped because ugly mech
>fuck it put black pilot in blue mech and blue pilot in red mech
>now girl gets blue mech but wears pink outfit anyway
>only the two most irrelevant characters are still color coded
>Yellow being a huge guy is somehow okay by sentai logic
Is this show even watchable

Red/blue are always the hero/lancer duo and pink is for the chick

when did lance striptease? in the new season?

They knew what they were doing with dem tiddies.
