Why would the official twitter account post this? If it's a lie and they ARE in charge of the account, why are they spreading false info? If it's true and they're NOT in charge, what does whoever's in charge of the account have to gain from publicizing the fact that the account's been compromised?

I'd guess the Clintons are some of the people behind this. They doubtless know that Julian has more info on them to release and they want people to think the links aren't real, as well as inhibiting leakers from giving Wikileaks anything new/worse.
