I'll be honest with you, I think it's almost entirely caused by me. It's not volume, but what is being said. At least, whenever I write something here it's like the entire board flips it shit. I'm not trying to upset anyone, but I just don't know where else to write it. With the surveillance state, I can't really speak my mind on facebook or anywhere else, so I come here to get shit off my mind. I tried a proxy, but couldn't get it to work. I'll probably leave soon too--it's actually a huge liability even if there's a perception of of anonymity (my holocaust surviving grandmother gave me one piece of advice, which was "never put anything in writing" and now I have). I don't know, I'm definitely not the only one, but I get the sense I'm the one who's upsetting people the most. Is it really so bad that we disagree? Also, there's a filter browser extension you can use so you don't have to see posts from a country. Also, I'm not even THAT upset about Trump, I just assumed we were all using this board to get shit off our mind, and mostly people were secretly racist which is why we are in this mess now. Can we all agree, at least, that what's happening is really fucking weird and stressful? And that I'm very likely in charge of reality in some profound way, or completely shit off nuts, so you can just ignore me completely.

Also, my theory for why Canadians stand out so much on this website is because most Canadians are here out of pure boredom. The vast majority of Canucks are apolitical/liberal, so to us the right-wing memes are just memes. We basically don't take any of this seriously, and we have nothing better to do, so we just post retarded shit ad infinitum.
