Who's behind wikileaks right now? We believe it's not assange, he and many others have "disappeared".
Remember D.A.K.? Funny thing really, Assange got his internet cut by the Ecuadorian embassy and hasn't been seen or heard from since.
We believe the deadman's switch was released into the Bitcoin blockchain on the same day as the massive DDoS attack took place on various servers, including the Bitcoin blockchain.
It would be better if someone could spread this info without all the Great Wizard LARP shit. Just the straight info.

It's a .md on some website, I'm not sure of what it's origins are, but the timeline is accurate.
Feel free.

That's really interesting. The copypasta says search blocks 434304 - 435711 which is a much wider search space. Let's rule out this narrower one first. It's only 100 blocks.
i came as soon as i heard about assange. is it true
Julian Hill
I think so. There's a lot of leads and reasonable suspicion for it to have a very likely chance of being true.
Assange is, most likely, dead. People around him are dead.
At the very least, Assange has disappeared, his internet thing with Ecuador expired after the election ended.

here's my question after the Wikileaks personell AMA do you think it's smarter to wait to spread the word til he activates his contingency o should we be spreading now
Ryan Cooper
The premise of this thread is that the private keys are somewhere in the blockchain. If that is true, the contingency is already in place.
Julian James
if i understood what you guys were saying i'd help
Joshua Nelson
You can help by spreading the knowledge and not letting this information get buried like it nearly was.
We don't know what we're looking for. The key might be obvious. Or, it very well might not be. We need a script that can take the data from those python scripts, attempt to decrypt, and verify.
Eli Taylor
Good point. I misread the timestamp.
Gavin Garcia
I just thought of it, what if we're thinking about this completely wrong, and the key for the files wasn't embedded into the blockchain, but rather the blockchain data was used as the key.
Wikileaks encrypted the data with the blocks from the blockchain?
blocks 383000 to 383100 may be the data used as the key.
The hash at the top is not a bitcoin hash, I know that for sure.
I'm not even sure it's a file hash, hashing isn't my specialty.

Bump.
Connor Price
We need more bumps and discussion.

There was a large key looking code on the wikileaks website as they were getting ddosed. An user posted an image while the the ddos was happening, But now i can't find it and its missing from my computer. Was it anything? Does anyone have it?
