I actually think (based on how things have been coming from since black goddess) that this era of BRPD could make good source material for a skirmish-size tabletop wargame. (something like say low point warhammer or warmachine). The factions basicly make themselves:
>BRPD and other related human forces
elite faction, with best ranged weapons. Units are not strong themselves but have access to powerful individual agents.
>Frogs, Black flame etc
Swarmer faction. Has a lot of vulbernable but powerful melee units with strong alternative deployment rules and other dirty tricks.
>Cave people, hyperborean monsters
Somewhat hybrid of a faction. units are weak but have abilities that support larger, powerful units (hyperborean warmachines and other subterranean beasts)
>Von Klempt, kroenen other project ragnarok type nazi remnants
Somewhat gimmicky faction, has strange shit like shakti-powered UFOs, feral vampire swarms and conqueror-worm like "controlled" Ogdru. Units are strong but suffer from not having good synergy with each other.
>Zinco and assorted side companies
Another human faction. Has somewhat same strenghts as BRPD, but replaces some of other stronger points with frog-fuckery.
Other factions could include fairies, russians and maybe Memnan Saa's yeti pals. If you really scretch things, you could expand other sides like the victorian scientist who tried to get swole as a full-fledged faction.
