And Iyashi-kei as a genre is unique to Japan because of the various socioeconomic and political reason. There's a reason for why those manga are the way they are. The concept of Iyashi-kei or something like tokusatsu are very uniquely Japanese same way something like noir or cold war era spy fiction is unique to West.
