Clinton won popular vote nationwide by about 1,400,000 votes

>Clinton won popular vote nationwide by about 1,400,000 votes
>Most of Clinton's surplus votes were in the rock-solid blue state of California, where Clinton won by over 3,000,000 votes
>Meanwhile, Trump won Texas by less than 820,000 votes

What if a million Californians moved to Texas?

Californians would rather die than move to a deep red state

It's called Austin.

Most of the Calicucks move into Nevada and cucked my great red state, Texas might be next

one of the electors in Washington vowed to be an unfaithful voter. It would be 269-269 in a red house. Trump still wins. That's how bad Hillary fucked up.

>Californians mass move to Texas

You must like movies with lots of gore.

They are already doing it.

Why do you think the Democrat Party is doing everything in their power to destroy California even though they own it? It will still be a blue state and they'll still get 55 EC votes from it, and they will get the bonus of a bunch of broken Californians fleeing to places like Texas to flip them blue.

We need to just nuke California or sink it into the ocean.

texas is not deep red. it is cucked compared to its southern neighbors.

>Clinton won the popular vote
they aren't done counting and they double check removing any fraud votes

What if the red Californians knew it's a winner takes all system and waiting in line for 4 hours next to a bunch of Hillary supporters is a terrible way to spend their day when they have a job.

EHY DO THEY VOTE FOR BLUE IF BLUE FUCKED THEIR ORIGINAL STATE UP

WHY

proof QUESTION MARK

yep, looking for jobs

easier time thinking of them as such

God I love being in a mail-vote only state. We've had an 80% eligible turnout on average. If every state were like us, we could eliminate polling station fraud and illegal voters.

muh firewall

the same butthurt Hillary shills.

saga`d

There was a wyoming congress man who asked that question when some CA transplant started stirring up trouble in jackson hole.

As a Texan if people actually see how well trump does and how much better he makes things (especially here) getting the problematic illegals out I wouldn't be surprised if he gets even more support

Californian here. All conservatives are fleeing the state in hoards, this state will never go red again. Orange County and Northern California are getting overrun by more and more illegal immigrants (who by the way, have the right to vote here). Most people in my area are going to Nevada or Southern Oregon, Conservatives in Orange County are fleeing any fucking where they can that is nice and peaceful, the old money there is dead and is now dominated by MOSTLY Chinese immigrants. Northern Californian's such as myself are getting our taste of Mexicans. Sad time for us, Trump-senpai please nuke us.

>mcmullin fucked over clinton in utah

found the article, it was a state legislator and the transplant was from VA

shit, forgot link theblaze.com/stories/2013/02/24/by-all-means-leave-the-amazingly-blunt-response-one-state-rep-gave-a-citizen-who-wrote-him-opposing-concealed-carry-in-schools/

>trump didn't even need texas to win
thank you for fudging the numbers on the pic so I had to actually double check.
this was a fuckin blowout wasnt it boys?

>What if a million Californians moved to Texas?

Texan here. Many red voters don't vote because the state is red. If the state started to turn purple, I would vote to counteract that.

Cheers mate.

Yea, that's really all that gave Hillary the popular vote.

>"""we""" have """verified"""

Just wait until He forces them to get rid of their sanctuary cities or lose federal funding.

What if we get rednecks from the mid west to infiltrate west Virginia and Minnesota

If you got rid of the electoral college, the flyover states would go from having minimal influence in the election to no influence at all. The popular vote alone cannot decide the President; fair representation for all areas of the country regardless of population also needs to be included.

A compromise would be to keep the Electoral College, but abolish all the winner-take-all setups (in 48 states). That way, the electoral college would perfectly represent the voter's choice by congressional district instead of by state.

One problem with that. Making it dependent on congressional district makes the election vulnerable to gerrymandering.

It might be better to make it just flat-proportional-by-state.

So if Trump wins 60% in Wyoming, Clinton wins 30% and Johnson gets 10%, Trump gets two EVs and Clinton gets one.

I forgot to mention that the senatorial electoral college votes (each state has two) would remain winner-take-all.

Still vulnerable to gerrymandering. With a clever enough division drawer, you could have a state with 12 EVs where one candidate gets the statewide EVs but only two or three district EVs, while the other candidate gets the other 8 EVs.

Hardly seems sensible.

Making it purely proportional by state has the opposite effect: making the popular vote completely irrelevant.

That's what liberals do. They ruin their home state and then move to a red state while still voting blue. They're like locusts. Happened in Colorado and Nevada and now it's happening to Texas and North Carolina.

>tfw (((shills))) use memes wrong

Nice id fag

Oklahoma is redder than Texas is

If commifornians move to Oklahoma, they'd just turn red

You underestimate the power of Oklahoma

No it doesn't

gayy boi

Texas has strict voter ID laws so the 2 million illegals who voted in California would be deported if they tried. They have suffered w̶e̶t̶ setbacks but Trump's going to get the Supreme Court firmly in his corner so, if anything, they'll get stricter and California might even have some voter ID laws on the books by 2020 (or, better still, voting records will be used to identify illegal immigrants and round them up).

Why don't we make the popular vote worth a certain amount of electors? Say 20 or so.

Thoughts?

Texas would go Blue in 2024 if Trump does not fix current immigration conditions.

It's this. A lot of red and blue voters don't turn up to the polls in New York because of the city ("my vote doesn't count").

Knowing the electoral college, and that your state is solidly one color or another if it's not a swing state - people often do not show up to vote. Comparing the nationwide popular vote when it's fucking irrelevant under the current system is a fucking joke and a meme.

...

Why bother
The system works
Libs are just buttmad cos they lost

I know a lot of people here in california either don't vote or just vote on local elections because their vote doesn't really matter nationally. I'm not sure if that would mean more republican votes or not, but there would certainly be more votes cast if the electoral college wasn't a thing.

>They just passed teaching kids in their own language school work rather than forcing English on them so they can be more proficient at English while learning material at the same time
CALIFORNIA!

...

I don't know how people can look at this and still have the "muh popular vote" argument

Politics fucking sucks

>>Clinton won popular vote nationwide by about 1,400,000 votes
illegals and dead people

Didn't Trump only lose something like 130 counties?

I might be getting the number wrong but most people that voted blue this election are HEAVILY stacked into densely populated areas. So while places like LA might be able to keep the state deep blue on its own, that's a lot of voters that aren't doing anything to help in more closely contested states.

Or they could move to Wyoming where their voting power would equal 4 times that than it is in California. Of course then they'd lose their gibs since they aren't citizens.

I'd say this presidency is going to be the last chance republicans get at making real policy change to ensure voter legitimacy. Otherwise by next cycle the democrats will just sweep it up and amass so many illegal votes that there will never be anything but a democrat president ever again.

>Otherwise by next cycle the democrats will just sweep it up and amass so many illegal votes that there will never be anything but a democrat president ever again.
The thing is, as long as they keep going full retard and only bringing in beaners to like three states that won't seal the deal for them at all. Especially since "hispanics" voted what, like 40% for Trump this election? They aren't as brainwashed as the left would like to believe.

If those numbers are true, then I have serious respect for the Mexican-Americans now.

>enter illegally, may or may not have delusions about America being obligated to accept me
>get here, GOP party doesn't want rampant undocumented immigration illegally, threatens to kick us out
>Dem party wants us to vote for them and strings us on for 20+ years saying they will definitely give us amnesty and stuff, they just haven't gotten around to it when they were in power or something

>despite the Democrat lies, decide not to be a Democrat voting slave, vote Trump hoping for actual immigration reform, legal status for the illegals, some kind of vetting process so all the cartels don't give us a bad name

Pretty ballsy, Mexibros.

Remember that legal immigrants tend to fucking hate illegal immigrants
And lumping everyone from spanish speaking nations as "hispanic" has always been retarded.

yeah I voted against this, fucking hell, bilingual classes might be more "progressive" but if these kids don't learn English they're not getting into university. I'm fairly liberal but the state of the liberal mentality is absolutely pathetic right now

>California hate
>posted with my Android phone

I wonder if they HAVE to now thus employ bi and multi-lingual people since before it was just students that were helping these ESL students.

Pretty amazing how little immigration more is needed to turn Texas blue. After that no white-interest candidate could ever win elections.

>be cali
>move to wisconsin to turn it blue
>realise there's no fucking jobs
>vote red.

Trust me alot of conservatives in texas dont like trump because ted lost and didn't vote

Romney won the state by 15 points 4 years ago

Way over a million Californians are going to be moving real soon, a little bit further south than Texas though

They are fucking underhanded pieces of shit that squeeze out any opposition. Making it so the top two popular people will get on the ballot and everyone chopped out often guarantees two Democrats on the ballot and suppressing anyone who wants to vote for different political ideals.

Wait until all the illegals are deported from Calipornia and then see how it votes in the next national election.

>What if a million Californians moved to Texas?
they already have. that's why it was "close" this election

Californians have been moving here since the 90's and they bring there crap ideas with them

"let's build a gondola!"

Sounds like we narrowly avoided HRC's Trail of Tears

Why the fuck haven't they called MI yet? I thought they counted to 100%

this

It won't be 3 states forever. The gibs allow them to artificially flourish in population and when the density gets greater than they can physically feed or live reasonably, they'll spill over into surrounding states and begin to turn the vote there as well. That or they'll create such unrest demanding the electoral college be done away with/changed that liberal politicians will begin to see an opportunity to pander for votes with.

Clear federal regulation on who can and can't vote must be established and enforced before 2020. And who can't vote must be people who are not citizens.

you could sprinkle 150k dem voters across WI, MI, PA and Clinton would have had it

good thing they stayed in their safe spaces then
