It turns out that the NSA made some advancements in spying capabilities that the CIA wasn't prepared for and they ended up stumbling onto the satanic child-abuse Finders cult the CIA is using to breed super soldiers. When the NSA revealed their findings it made the CIA look bad to other agencies . So they sent their boy Snowden to take the NSA down a peg or two by making them look like the bad guys to the public.
