This is going to be my final upload. My life is currently moving in a bigger, busier direction. With the rising popularity of the show and its fandom, I’ve found it increasingly difficult to keep doing this along the changing course of my life. Having to check Deviantart, Pixiv, and 6 different tags on Tumblr daily has always been time-consuming and only got worse over the years. That’s not even counting Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, hell, even Google and random foreign websites I’d find as a result of those searches. I'm sorry to say nobody's volunteered to continue this collection.
I’ve been with the show ever since season 1. It’s always been flawed, but I fell in love with the innocent energy and positives which slipped through the cracks. It kept tripping over itself, but it was so bubbly in trying I couldn’t help but resonate. Both the show, and the threads here have changed quite the amount since then. Hell, I’m getting all nostalgic thinking about Starbob, Cute and Perfect, Smug Janna, IWNHA, IWHALS, Marco pours Marco, that Nick live action show, the chaos from Friendenemies, Just Friends, etc.
The first upload was September 28, 2015, 137MB at 480 files. All unorganized and unsourced, but it was all I could do to express the immense love I first felt for this ship, while making others happy. Those humble beginnings make me realize how much has changed, but too much of it still feels like just yesterday.
Being forced to let go of something I invested so much time and devotion to makes me feel like I’m saying goodbye to such a large piece of myself; which is why I felt I need to say this. I wish I could’ve kept doing this until the end as I intended, but it seems that won’t be possible.
This place and show could at times be rather shitty. In spite of that, I’ll miss it all. Thanks for all the good memories.
