Because he can also communicate with creatures of the sea.
Also even if you had someone who only could communicate with land creatures you would probably want to use a prefix like "geo" instead of "land" since the other guy you're comparing him to is Aquaman and not Waterman.

Didn’t Tera’s brother have “Geo” in his name? Could he communicate with animals?

Because the planeteers went by their names, not codenames.

Geo-Force, and no

is there some type of comic hero that's basically Aquaman but specifically for land animals? This character might make a great parody or even a villain for him

Now that I realize it if he was not autistic heart is a fucking scary power. Gaining an army of animals at your disposable sounds scary.

No, because that concept doesn't make much sense. Why would you be able to communicate with all the many different creatures living on land but none of the sea creatures? Does water block your telepathy or something?

i'm pretty sure this is how they came up with concepts on the 60's user

> on the 60's user

i'm a fucking idiot and always hit send too quickly. "in" the 60's

I wonder who the other people were playing in that movie

Mandy Moore - Mera
Edward Norton - Orm
Jude Law - Garth
Michael Caine - Tom Curry?

Actually doesn't seem all that bad for a mid 00's cape movie despite being a joke

"joke"?

I have no idea what you're talking about

The sign of Jhebbal-Sag isn't limited to land animals.

Manual reminder that this pilot tested very well, but the network torpedoed it for seemingly no reason.

i think they canned it because they didn't want audiences to get confused between the CW version and the James Cameron version on the big screen

if it does then i can't recall the show using it on non-land animals.

they invoke a nature spirit to control animals.

Why can Aquaman only communicate with fish?

The opening should give you a gist to the sort of show it was.
