It's the fifth volume of Transmetropolitan. I guess I won't be storytiming I Hate it Here after the final volume because someone posted all of it anyway. Anyway, let's see what Spider does next.
Storytime: Transmetropolitan Vol. 5: Lonely City
At least there are still places with forests and trees.
It's a good thing these little stories are interesting.
Spider's hatred of Dogs is one of those aspects of his personality that I really wish got some explanation at some point
To be fair he hates everything.
The shrines are getting bigger.
love the continual theme of things like shopping carts, port-a-jons, and park benches having warnings about the horrible things they'll do to people if they're abused
>To be fair he hates everything.
way I see it, Spider hates things on different levels, for a lot of things it's merely a superficial hate that's part of his persona(like how he'll claim to hate kids, but in fact he has a huge soft spot for them), but other hates are true and deep, and his hate for Dogs seems to be one of those
bottom right panel. reminds me strongly of trump vs hillary
Put on a nice suit and throw your self-restraint out the window, it's time to go monstering!
I wonder what Spider's opinions of cable news networks would be.
I made this page into a reaction image a long time ago.
This is a Futurama-tier obscure inside joke
Check out Julian Jaynes' "The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind"
I don't know who the guy on the bottom right is suppose to be.
Is this his first book or his second book? We saw advertisements for a different book earlier in the series, but that had a different title. But it had the same content, Spider was also suppose to write a book about the election.
Kinda looks like Audie Murphy.
brb
Nice to see Travis doing better.
in a just world we'd have lewds of his Transient daughter
also Spider's statement about committing really good crimes is wonderful
>Public phones
>talks about a genome reset like it's a completely normal thing
>later undoing being transient is a shady underground procedure that's obscure enough to fool the secret service
This book has a lot more plot holes than I remember. It's sort of depressing, I loved it when I was younger.
