Why is there so many Mexican spider-man Knockoffs?
Why is there so many Mexican spider-man Knockoffs?
Because his design is lucha libre as fuck. Are you the same fucker who keeps asking this?
Jaime is not like Spider-Man in any way unless you think that any male teen hero is a Spider-Man knockoff, which is fucking retarded. Also, two of the others are literally named "Spider-Man" and published by Marvel, so hardly "knockoffs".
Miles is Puerto Rican isn't he? Or atleast people decided his mom was Puerto Rican and Bendis just fell in line because Bendis doesn't think anything through.
Sideways is the most successful Mexican spidey and he only has 2 issues!
>Why are there so many white Spider Man knockoffs?
ftfy
Why does Spider-Man have a Luchador looking mask?
Miles is not Mexican he's Domincan Puerto Rican or some shit.
Remove Miles and Miguel.
They are not knockoffs, they are legacies. It is saying Superboy is a knockoff from superman
I thought his mom was dominican?
Miggy is a true successor.
Why does everyone forget Miguel's Irish half?
Why do you keep making this thread? Moreover, as far as Miles advocates are concerned, he's just black
I haven't read 2099 in a while but I don't remember the Irish half being used to add small touches like the suit being a Day of the Dead costume or Miguel vacationing in Mexico. Or his mom adding Spanish to her dialog after PAD left writing.
He's half Puerto Rican on his mother's side
Fuck you Jaime is actually cool and different from Peter, the same goes for Miguel, but i haven't read sideways and Miles is just bland i don't if he ever improved
It just really bothers me that everyone, including writers, seem to ignore or have forgotten that the character was like the ultimate representation of the bright vision of future America, as a mixing pot.
Jaime: Chicano
Miguel : Mexican/Irish White
Miles: Puerto Rican/Afroamerican
Derek: Puerto Rican raised by Whites
None of them is a real mexican
How are Miles and Miguel knockoffs?
Miles is not mexican btw
I don't remember what flavor of burrito his sexy ass Mom was, but I don't think Miles is Mexican.
His powers involve scaling walls, it speaks to their culture.
Aracnido Jr is Mexican
>Spiderverse #2
Mexico gots lotsa spiders.
>Irish White
He's not even that since the dad he grew up with got cucked by Tyler Stone.
>he honestly thinks this
What is Stone's background?
Don't forget Anya Corazon.
I don't get why Sideways is called a Spider-Man. It feels like calling Cuphead "the Dark Souls of platformers". He's got eyes on his suit, and he's a kid hero in a big city. That's basically the end of the similarities.
Puerto ricans rule New York so it makes sense
If illegally immigrating to the US until you and your family are given citizenship by libtards doesn't make you a real mexican, what fucking does?
Miguel and Jaime should team up.
He's not just a male teen hero, he's a male teen hero in a full bodysuit who is also bug themed
Also...isn't the modern version of Blue Beetle suit basically a knock off symbiote?
Was Blue Beetle not first?
It's one of the few American comics I read, and I like the non-power Blue Beetle. His gimmicks and all, it was a good read.
Are these all Mexican?
Do the average Mexican kids care about comics?
For my country, it's like muslims would care about our comics, like bob & bobette, they can't go into the humor and language.
Can some american or mexican explain?
Does Mexico have a huge comic fanbase?
>Are these all Mexican?
Nah, just Miguel and Jaime I think
>Do the average Mexican kids care about comics?
Very much, comics are a pretty big business in Mexico. Of course the movies have a lot to do with them, but people buy a lot of issues and tpbs.
>Does Mexico have a huge comic fanbase?
Yes, not as big as the anime fanbase tho.
That's kinda nice.
I hope they can get some Mexican national spirit and make their country better, instead of making their future somewhere else.
There is no place like home.
>Also...isn't the modern version of Blue Beetle suit basically a knock off symbiote?
No, it's a knock-off Guyver, the manga of which predates both the black suit and "secretly an alien organism" retcon.
