Part four of Geoff Johns and Gary Frank's Doomsday Clock.
Witness the origin of Rorschach II!
>credits pages are spelling out Doomsday Clock
>won't have enough issues
>Rorshaq is the psychiatrist's kid
B R A V O J O H N S
>comic run extended so Johns can spell clock
checked
this is so stupid it has to be true
Just skip the L.
>>Cupcake tattoo
>Johns realizes the only way to actually top Watchmen is by literally one-upping it
by god it's actually going to happen
>>I was an only child.
And my brothers and sisters all hated me for it.
Yes, he's a violent kid who punches ordered at the slightest provocation, I get it.
>Abraham Lincoln
WHAT SUBTLE IMAGERY JOHNS HAS CONJURED HERE FOR US

Hal Jordan/GLC: Metal:
More like Maxie Zeus, you turbopleb
a filler issue seriously...
Do they really expect anyone to read all this?
Why does this universe have Mr Freeze? Is there some Timely Comics analogue I'm not aware of?
it's swapping perspectives between DC and Watchmen
Oh get off it already.
if you want a hugbox about how great Doomsday Clock is, you can go to CBR or something
Lmao what a way to go
I did, it's a little sad and honestly more interesting than the actual comic.
Fuck, it's psychologist. New Rorch is his son.
Funny how you assume that criticizing one side means you're supporting the other. If Johns drops dead right now and the series never finishes, I wouldn't lose any sleep.
Im just sick of reading the same tired old complaints. If you don't like his work, fine. Then don't read it. Bitching isn't going to make him go away. If reading his work makes you so unhappy, you deserve what you get.
I don't like bee stings on my dick, but you don't see me thrusting my dick into beehives.
what if it makes me happy to make fun of a bad comic
That's kind of cool
Then make fun of then, don't bitch out in all caps.
Is that a fucking Cricket bat?
Cause that universe is the DC Universe
you're not the dad of me
is that the same Jane Doe from Akham Asylum mini?
probably
although apparently she has psychic powers now I guess?
how many years of blue dick teasing can Sup Forums take?
No, its Saturn Girl.
Is that Mothman?
Oh yeah... I totally forgot about her over the year.
Guess I should have kept reading
it's been almost two years now
>Tell me about Doe!
>Why does he wear the mask!?
You don't know that
Yes you ADHD amermutt medicated cookie cutter brainlet.
I can't decide if this is great or fucking retarded beyond belief
Whose photo is that and who's in it? I think I missed something.
I had the same reaction to the previous issue.
Nice cover.
if you're not sure, it's probably the latter
Are his powers messing up do you think? The button ending up in the Batcave, the picture now for seemingly no reason. Or is Johns just a hack who thinks this looks cool?
I think I like the regular cover slightly better, but this is still cool, too.
>storytiming this to make Doomsday Clock (and its price) look even worse
Based.
Isn't that reused from a before Watchmen cover?
I ain't storytiming it, just showing user what the picture is
Johns is such a classic nerd type that him writing a prison scene is almost laughable. You can tell he doesn't get those types of people nor has he ever been around them.
Damn, good catch
It's a little on the nose. But not terrible or stupid. Just you know, the obvious thing to do.
Oh shit. I thought the bug zapper machine killed it at first but on second look Manhattan did it.
how time flies...
When DC are slow as shit and putting an embargo on several characters and teams just because they can
>still no Shazam announcement
and it'll probably turn out crap anyway
This comic is kind of revealing Geoff Johns' biggest shortcoming as a writer: He is incapable of writing "street tough" (for lack of a better description) material. And Watchmen was like THE example of "mature readers superhero comics", but Johns just doesn't have it in him to write shit like that.
That said, I did enjoy the first 3 issues, and I'm not HATING this one either, but the author's lack of real world experience with "tough urban environments" is OVERWHELMINGLY GLARINGLY OBVIOUSLY showing through in the script.
It's like if Mark Waid tried to be a rapper. Nigga wouldn't know where to start and it'd be obvious that he just didn't belong.
But again, I ain't HATING it either. Hopefully Johns will be smart enough not to stick with the "black people from da STREET YA'LL and DA HOOD an sheeeit" nonsense in future issues.
