Because it's a goldmine for people making ghetto-ass memes.
It's been that way for a while
Isn't that the great Cornholio from Beavis and Butthead?
B R A V O
If they choose to watch me fap they deserve to see all the questionable shit

People actually cared about the show back then
Funny and genuinely unexpected most of the time rather than trying to be topical or constantly going for the easy joke; it took years (at least until the debut of Chowder, possibly sooner depending on your >opinions) for any cartoon to match that level of fresh and engaging writing. It was like the animated Beetle Bailey; the underwater setting didn't matter, it was just a vehicle for bouncing the characters off of each other. It also had a lot of obscure references and language that a kid would just ignore but later learn to appreciate as an adult, which gave it a kind of longevity few other shows have been able to match.
>OP posts a twitter screencap with a controversial statement while asking an "innocent" question
>nobody takes the bait
I'm proud of you guys
While OP was most likely baiting, it does show how second-nature SpongeBob posting has become. Evil Patrick, Krusty Krabs vs Chum Bucket, and now . There's a new SpongeBob meme every week.
Would you say it was comparable to early simpsons?
There's a reason they're both infinitely memeable
is spongebob great again?
Nostalgia
Is Bubble Bass a regular character now?
I don't get it
Why does twitter have the worst fucking memes
The animation is looking better, but the delivery is definitely lacking.
>Says the faggot in the board which pretends baneposting is funny
Wew lad.
this isn't Sup Forums
Nice.
Because it had a unique setting and the humor didn't rely on pop culture references or what was trendy at the time.
>It was like the animated Beetle Bailey
Dont compare spongebob to that unfunny comic
They chose the right type of humor to entertain a broad audience without the audience having to force itself into it
Dude
Apparently yes.
