can u see it from ur house :DDD
Alaskan here, it is -6 F right now. Things are expensive. You'd better have a high-paying salary or be willing to go full subsistence. Otherwise there's no point stepping outside of Anchorage, which is less Alaskan than more an extension of the West Coast.
Pretty good
No I'm on the opposite side. I can see Finland from my house.
Frankly I'm interested in moving to US and thinking about possible options. And I thought maybe if Alaska is not very popular place to immigrate to, maybe I have better chances of finding a job there. I'm not afraid of cold at all, and I'm not looking for high wage.

What the heck, it says unknown flag to me.
From the time I spent there, I hated it but miss it leaving now. Anchorage is the main city besides Fairbanks and its ghetto looking neighborhoods. Yeah shit is more expensive than the lower 48, but I think not as much as say Hawaii. Outdoors is life, you get some daylight hours compared to the towns further north like Barrow. I'd move up there for work desu
is the diving good there mate?
Alaska will gib you monies to live there
East Timor
extremely common
looks comfy as fuck man
What the fuck are you
This, other than that its comfy, fucking commiefornians and washfags keep driving up prices
Protip: if your an accountant you can get a comfy state job that pays very well
T. Shoulda went to school for accounting.
I can't see shit.
Wait is that Germany :!
East Timor m8, it's a shithole island near Indonesia. Extremely poor.
probably a proxy
Go ask Sup Forums
This is a political board.
It's actually somewhat uncommon, but still not rare or even noteworthy
Im samefagging but:
Kenai and Soldotna are comfy.
Ninilchik has god tier clams.
Homer is a stoners paradise
SE is Alaska lite
Bethel was cool, reminded me of an Alaskan version of the Outer banks of NC
Barrow sucks period...so does nome.
Favorite place: either ninilchik or Tok
Like Yakutia except with a longer coastline.
Check out Montana or Coeur d'alene
I also know a guy that spent a few years in Juneau and showed me pictures, it was pretty amazing, probably not too many women in these kinds of places but who knows.
Lots of women in Bozeman Montana
Barrow sucks cuz pic related. If you pass by a polar bear in your car chances are itll follow you home to eat you and your whole family
Dude every single person in Bozeman
should be on the Maury Povich show theyre that fucking wierd
Not bad, I can see you guys from my house.
Juneau has women cuz of the college, but its almost sjw territory there
it's great
it's cold
it's dark
it's expensive
we're full
Yeah i forgot to say this,
Fuck off
Were full
Cunt
>liberal Australians unironically move here cuz australia is too racist yet they wont go to any of the "diverse" states
Not that I can even choose. Finding a job in US for a foreigner is already extremely difficult, so I would accept any place.
Compared to what?
Bozeman is pretty cool, I like it. And there's a lot of young people there so OP could go to the bars and meet women. Also mountains and snow.
Economy is decent there as well. Doesn't cost much to live there and there's plenty of jobs. Maybe not like Chicago type jobs but it's easy to find employment.
In that case I would suggest looking into some major cities where they want cheap foreign labor
Compared to Alaska, I felt like every other person was a closet Jeffrey Dahmer.
you realize that Alaska is per capita the most diverse state?
also per capita we drink the most booze, have the most guns, and eat the most ice cream
Also Missoula is way better in every fathomable aspect
>SE is Alaska lite
Fuck off anchorage. Nobody likes you.
Anchorage here.
Economy is in the shitter thanks to low oil prices. and we have shit for snow this winter.
on the whole I love it and will never leave.
We're full.
>meet women
That's not very important for me.
Yeah this is true but were not sardine packed
Bullshit. I just checked and Anchorage is only little bit northern than Helsinki.
You could find a job as a translator or something. Depending on how effective Trump is at physical removal, a hole in the labor market might open up, who knows
shut up man
we are packed in here like sardines
we are goddamn full
Who said i was anchorage?
I live in SE
We have the mildest climate in the state, it is AK-49 bruh lite
>but its almost sjw territory there
Downtown but not the valley.
North America's climate is different than Europe, things get colder quicker. It's a full 10-20 degrees colder in Anchorage than Helsinki most of the time
Sorry anchorage, i forgot.
Jewno is so strange. seems like 90% of the people there work for the state and are tightwad busybody democrats.
Yeah not downtown
>posts pics from the mt roberts tram downtown
Are you gay user?
we are working towards our 4 hours of daylight here in anchorage (61n)
winter solstice is big here, because then we gain light again
I have no idea what the fuck that has to do with Helsinki, or why you would bring that up
I took that pic today. It's 19 degrees at my place right now.
I sure can translate Russian-English and English-Russian, including verbally, but who would accept me without a proper education, which I don't have.
Also can we talk about how fucked fred meyer is these days? Im so pissed walmart closed. All the fuck ups migrated
AHH COUREU D'ALLENE WAS BEAUTIFUR PRACE WHEN ME WAS AM THE FORAN ESCHANGE STUDANT FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO NORTHERN WAS NICE TIME VARY NICE FOR PEOPLE YES POST
Yeah i know this, its the same here now.
>tfw not living in comfy Alaska
No. But I won't prioritize women over my goals of successfully moving to US. I'm somewhere between straight and asexual.
kek fuck off I'm white
I don't think it matters so long as you can translate well. I would recommend major cities look for work as a translator.

Just type in "Russian translator"
Blackerby ridge looking at the airport. You couldn't hike up there in your wildest dreams.
Fbxfag here
There is a huge a Russian community in Delta Junction. They're mostly criminals though. Like:
>family goes on vacation
>Russians disassemble house piece by piece and return it to home depot
>Current weather in Anchorage -5 C
This damn warm
South-west Siberia -31C outside the window
Things juneau fags say
>hurr durr theres no deer up montana creek trail
Deer constantly walk around the free gun range
>SE confirmed for most boring terrible place to live in alaska if that's all you want to talk about.
Thank you very much for the links.
Like any sane person, I leave Alaska for the winter.
U gold pan?
Helsinki has oceanic weather yes. But Alaska is still nothing compared to Siberia.
Not shopping at based locally owned three bears
Yes we get exactly the same amount of light.
Listen here, when i go to freddys to get some tendies before i go fishing and there are none. I get pissed. Fuck off telling me how my conglomerate box superstores are supposed to operate!
Bet I could climb that ridge one way or another
Coastal city.
North Dakota is colder
Yes. I also look for old gold mines.
>Posting a store that isnt even in town
I might have found a good spot off the beaten path on perservearence trail.
whats all that gray hairy shit in the plate
>sharing good prospecting locations
>But Alaska is still nothing compared to Siberia.
It's literally the same landmass you retarded namefag.
Weather in Vladivostok: --7 degrees C
Weather in Novosibirsk: -24 degrees C
Weather in Anchorage: -4 degrees C
Weather where I'm staying: -22 degrees C
Also you need le trap (no memes intended) gold pan. Works like a champ.

I've gotten it at snowslide gulch back there. I followed that creek up the mountain.
>you literally couldnt find it unless you were shown because everyone knows that there was an operating gold mine there, thats why everyone pans in that general area
It's running water.
Snow people, floridafag here, currently 50f and i am shaking like chihuahua in chinese restaurant.
Would i beyond bear jerky if i can for a visit one day?
>Real feel temperature
I don't give a fuck about some meteorologists temperature record book, I care about what the cold FEELS like
Yes ND is colder. Stay BTFO Alaskafag, not as tough as you thought.
Alaska is Canada's Trans brother who disowned his Family
Its not really a contest on where the shittiest place is to live. Russia always BTFO us on this one.
This is a collapsed mine hole I found. I crawled inside
>water
>hairy
pick one bro
I hope we can annex British Columbia some day
Shut up leaf
If i wanted your opinion i would have scraped it off of Trudeaus zipper
Inside. Super creepy. Smelt like dead miners
24 degrees F and 10 mph wind in Fargo, ooh so brvtal
I live in Wasilla and have hit like 3 moose and rekt my car
It's literally not even winter yet
>-40 on ND
Sure feels cold I'm glad my car starts just fine
>-40 in AKansas
>fuck I forgot to plug my car in guess I'm not going anywhere maybe it'll be warmer tomorrow
Shut up windbitch
Colder than fairbanks?
I think not.
Suck it ND. Stay unremarkable in every way
